1. The kingdom of Hamburger is home to many creatures who reside in unique and eclectic villages. It’s ruled by twin brothers Juan and Gabriel.

2. After a jousting match between the brothers, Gabriel, enraged by the loss of the match, swore to overthrow the kingdom. That night, Gabriel secretly shanked and staged the assassination of his brother.  Gabriel was baffled to find that the pope was to befall the throne.  The pope provided hope for those who mourned the loss of the king.  Gabriel schemed in secrecy.

3. Gabriel begins his siege by publicly flailing the pope.  He proceeds to use the kingdom’s secret weapon, the drum n bass turret, and infects the castle and its surrounding villages with possessive wagyu tallow.  Meanwhile, the hermit, shielded by his cave, watches the overtaking of the kingdom.

4. The next morning, the hermit wakes up, realizing life is unchanged for himself.  As days pass, he has an epiphany that he is one of the few that can restore the kingdom to its once beautiful state. He sets out to find Kestrel the sage.

5. The hermit finds and enters Kestrel’s cave. He sees that Kestrel, in his own time, has also been trying to find ways to save the kingdom.  Kestrel has adopted blacksmithing and is able to prepare enchanted elixirs and armor, which are immune to and can cure the evil wagyu tallow rendering.  

6. The hermit arrives at the dilapidated Hummingbird Dowser Village.  He puts on the armor and sneaks in to fill the nectar dispensers with the elixir, successfully transforming the hummingbird beings to their natural state.

7. Bubba, leader of Hummingbird, realizes what has happened and mourns the loss of the late kings with his requiem.  The hermit has now gained the support of the hummingbird leader and its army.

8. The hermit and his helpers set out to nearby villages to begin the spread of the cure on the kingdom.  Meanwhile, the king basks in his castle.  He catches wind of what’s going on and orders Sir Wagyu to create a stronger weapon, the amen break turret. As the hermit and his crew are fighting the infection, they realize their tools are no match for the king's new weapon.

9. Following their defeat, the crew rethinks strategies.  They find that their only option is to kill the king.  They return to Kestrel in search of a weapon that will be able penetrate the king's sous vide armor.  Kestrel forges a sword in chimichurri sauce, giving it the ability to tear through the king's protection.  The hermit and friends embark towards the castle during a match of the king's favorite pastime, little league joust.

10. The hermit and his gang carefully sneak through the castle’s backstage when they are caught by surprise by a lv.69 bard.  The bard plays a piece on his lute and begins a brawl with the hermit.  They are able to cure the bard who now joins them in their fight against the king.  The hermit closes in on the king’s booth and draws his sword as the bard plays another piece, commencing the ambush of the king.  While the hermit’s homies are curing the castle’s beings, the hermit begins a fight with the king.  The hermit lands a critical hit and brings the king to his knees.  In his final moments, the king flings his dagger at the hermit’s neck.

11. The hermit’s friends are saddened but don’t have time to mourn.  They return to the neighboring villages to finish the job they started.  The final village is cured and the squad now has time to sit and reflect on the scope of their work.  They begin to mourn but are interrupted when the fish village throws an impromptu dance party, celebrating the liberation of the kingdom.  The crew is uplifted and know the kingdom has finally been restored.

12. The crew recovers the hermit and host a burial of their hero.  The bard plays a mournful, hopeful melody in honor of the hermit and the sacrifice he made.

13. Kestrel is offered the crown but refuses it and instead offers it to Bubba. They celebrate the new king and invite the kingdom to join.

The hermit’s friends are saddened by his death but don’t have time to mourn.  They return to the neighboring villages to finish the job they started, free from the threat of the king’s turrets.  The final village of fish creatures is cured and the squad now has time to sit and reflect on the scope of their work.  They begin to mourn but are interrupted when the fish village throws an impromptu dance party, celebrating the liberation of the kingdom.  The crew (composed of Bubba, his army, the bard, and creatures of surrounding villages who joined the fight) is uplifted and know the kingdom has finally been restored.
