This mix was about keeping the vocals intimate and raw while still putting them in a space with reverb and delays, not so much that they washed out but just enough to reinforce the message and sit naturally alongside the acoustic instruments.

Sometimes as a mixer, the job is more about knowing what not to do.
For this track, all I did to treat the guitars was roll off the lows and apply light compression to get them sitting right in the mix. No extra EQ moves — just a touch of reverb to give them space, and done.
