Dave Clarke - White Noise #1028 (Electro) (2025.09.12)

Ultranoise is an electronic musician and dj from Saint-Petersburg, Russia.
His style is a diverse exploration of modern electronic dance music, ranging from the subtle, percussive depths of minimal to the powerful, euphoric peaks of trance and the raw, broken beats of electro.
A true devotee of mood and a dedicated music producer himself, Ultranoise crafts his narratives with a distinct preference for trippy and atmospheric soundscapes. But also to incorporate cold, industrial-tinged shades, and harmonizing them with warm, luminous melodies. This unique contrast, born from a deep love for crafting sound, creates a captivating, ethereal, and deeply emotional journey that is both cerebral and physically moving.

Which artists has influenced you the most?
- I rarely give preference to certain artists and always try to listen to a variety. But in terms of electronic music ideas I mostly inspired by Vril, Basic Channel, Client_03.

What new projects/releases with your participation are expected in the near future?
- I just released a vynil on Believe In Records, I can't really say anything about future releases yet.

What inspires you now to create music?
- I like to catch musical ideas, like being inside the loop. And I like to play my tracks in clubs. I think these two feelings inspire me the most.

What set-up do you use when creating music?
- I use my favorite Elektron boxes - Syntakt and Digitakt, I have a small Eurorack synth, but everything always ends up in Ableton Live with a touch of favorite plugins.

Marco Ragni and Sandra Mason, both hailing from Italy, navigate the intersections between ambient, experimental and atmospheric sound, blending ethereal tones with a visceral feel.

Perpendicular is a self managed and private festival held somewhere in the woods of central Spain.

Alavux is a highly respected electro-techno artistfrom Serbia, known for his fast-paced, tenacious sounds and his dedication to representing the underground music scene in Eastern Europe. 

For over two decades, Alavux has been a driving force in the industry, leading his E75 crew with passion and commitment. In 2015, Alavux released the highly acclaimed "Octagon EP" on BassAgendaRecordings, which received support from industry heavyweights such as DaveClarke.
This release solidified his reputation as one of the true Knights of The Round table of music and gained him notoriety around the world.
Alavux's journey into music production began in the mid-'90s,where he found inspiration in acid, techno, and house music. With early success on his country's national charts with his track "San," Alavux continued to be one of the heavy supporters of the then-nascent "3rdwave" of electro bass and funk music. With a keen sense of staying ahead of the curve, Alavux has created his path in the industry. He draws inspiration from the great pioneers of the past but chooses to adopt their pioneering spirit and innovation rather than their sound and track structures.
This unique approach has garnered him support from industry legends such as JuanAtkins, LaurentGarnier, and DJStingray. Alavux is a visionary and a devout lover of his craft. His discography showcases his ability to seamlessly blend both techno and electro styles with explosive results. With his powerful grooves, Alavux creates a force to be reckoned with on each track he produces. Overall, Alavux is an accomplished artist with a rich history in the industry, and his passion for the music shines through in every release. His dedication and innovative approach to his craft set him apart from his peers. ELEKTROFELINA is a DJ from Vladivostok who began her musical path in New York, where the local underground scene shaped her taste for raw, corroded sound.

Her sets weave together genres and eras: electro, Chicago acid, italo, new beat, EBM, and Detroit techno.
All of it fuses into a bold, fierce narrative where the past meets the future.

KISLO DANCE! 34: ELEKTROFELINA

Operating out of Toronto, Trailcam crafts dense music shaped by fractured percussion and dub's dislocation. Her approach to sound evokes a world that's constantly shifting with its clean edges eroded by repetition and drift. Released on Northern Electronics, her debut album Drumlin Loop serves as a weathered map of these sonic territories.

Transparent Sound was formed in the English seaside town of Bognor Regis by B-Boy Orson Bramley and guitarist Martin Brown who bonded over a love of hip hop, electro, 70's electronica, Visage, and Cabaret Voltaire. 

Whilst 100% serious about making music to move the dance floor, Transparent Sound never took themselves seriously, breaking with the electro tradition of being po-faced even down to the self-deprecating admission in press releases that they “don’t know how any of [their] equipment works”. 

This willingness to “fiddle and tinker until a good noise comes out” has gained Transparent Sound a cult following from fans including Helena Hauff, Ricardo Villalobos, Weatherall, Laurent Garnier, Mad Mike, and Robert Smith of The Cure (who asked TS to remix their single Wrong Number). The TS track No Call From New York, was named track of 2017 on both the Pete Tong Essential Mix, and the Btraits BBC Radio 1 shows. 

A retrospective of their work, Accidents 1994-2023, was released this year on Tresor, collecting dancefloor hits like Punk Mother Fucker, the afore-mentioned No Call From New York, as well as new versions of old material and a few unreleased gems. 

Martin recently hung up his disco shoes after recovering from a life-threatening illness. Orson continues Transparent Sound’s mission both in the studio through on-going productions, live hardware stage show, and DJ sets taking the trademark heavy bass and saw-wave buzz direct to the dancefloor.
