Cr2 proudly presents the fourth instalment of our Cr2 Trax EP series. With four future classics from our favourite emerging producers, this EP encapsulates the sound of the bristling underground house and techno scene that’s reverberating across dance floors all over the world.

Young Society Records boss Andy Bach features with his latest song Come On And Dance. The German club veteran has a rich history in dance music, and this new cut builds on his already glittering body of work. Another highlight comes from hotly tipped Liverpool producer Lee Carter, who delivers a masterclass in build and release with the impossibly danceable Candi. Long time Cr2 associate Mr. Gonzo also throws his hat in the mix with a typically infectious party tune Moon, alongside one of dance music’s best kept secrets Dakar.

Cr2 Trax Volume Four is a unapologetically forward facing EP, with all four tracks providing a thrilling snapshot of what the future of dance music has in store.

With a solid relationship that has stretched 15 years, two of dance music’s most prominent producers have joined forces under a secret alias named Boeke. Having rounded off 2018 on a high with their Watch You Mouth EP on Redlight’s Lobster Boy label, the Solardo lads have now snapped up Boeke for 2019 as they get set to release the She Came Hot EP on Sola.

The Boeke project peddles a new sound that doesn’t just draw on the duos’ respective musical experiences – one half is known for fast BPMs while the other is an established legend on Bristol’s underground scene. Instead, Boeke is an explosive new platform for the pair to explore the furthest reaches of electronic music, taking inspiration from the likes of bass heavyweights including MIA, Diplo, Switch, Sinden, Basement Jaxx, Blonde Da Role and Crookers. "So about the Ep, Circus has been on one of our bucket list labels for like forever. We had the honour of playing with Yousef 4 years ago , we exchanged details and we got to work. It was literally a no for 4 years but we managed to get a break last year.

Taking things more melodic in our production we kinda expanded what we did on our last truesoul ep. Shadow Hills was the first yes (named after the famous mastering compressor) jon taking the time studying music theory pulling out some interesting progression and arps. 

Chaos Theory was a brain child from the past always wanting to nail a menacing brass section track the hook came by mistake , but sometimes that's how the best ones happen.
