This month on our mix series is yet another up and coming producer known as Westcoast Goddess (@westcoast-goddess). Although she currently has a very short catalog of tunes (only one in fact on the infamous 100% Silk label), She's currently getting prepped and ready to release her debut ep through the illustrious label Omena Records (@omena-records). For now though it's an honor to showcase one of the most mesmerizing and emotionally landscaped sets that perfectly encases the spiritual healing mood she consistently and so rightfully has placed herself in.

His balancing act was intricate and neat. It was a case of precision, to thread the needle was no easy feat, a performance which was a lifetimes work. 

James Welsh is perhaps better known under his former alias as Kamera. The producer has formed a close relationship with the Phantasy record label run by Erolk Alkan. He returns with a new two track EP which is set for release on the 21st of July later this month.

His music a clear product of both his roots and a wide-ranging palette of inspiration; in his music you can hear the sound of Paris (his home-town), its music and cultural legacy and the ethnic sounds of Africa.

With this offering to our mix series, those influences are clearly heard as well as reflecting a plethora of other sounds, dipping in and out of house, jazz and hip-hop. Foot-stomping, funky selections with a serious bump.
