On 11 August, Matt Walsh drops The Clouded Vision Experiment – Level 2, a mixed compilation which showcases the label’s outlook. The compilation will be released on triple vinyl with an included CD and features tracks from the likes of Richard Norris,  Dimitri Veimar, Demian, Eskimo Twins, Markus Gibb, Few Nolder, Kiwi, Club Bizarre and many more. We’ve got the first listen of our favourite track on the compilation – The Hacker’s The Outer Limits. Its unashamedly Drexcyia-influenced, wave-running nature harks back to the golden days of electro (real electro) while remaining up-to-date in every other aspect, and that’s definitely something we can get into. Fatigued by the dichotomy of truth and falsehood, good and evil, Velax transcended to a metaphysical plane to weave his tales. His remix of "Toro" by El Columpio Asesino has gained widespread acclaim over the past year and has graced prominent stages, championed by techno heavyweights like I Hate Models and Amelie Lens. Equally remarkable is his reinterpretation of “Moustache”, Local Suicide & Skelesys’ hit featured on Local Suicide's debut album "Eros Anikate”. With his take on “Keep Driving”, Andre VII injects his signature flair, constructing an irresistible, danceable groove accentuated by deft vocal chops and propulsive percussion.

Nocta Numerica meets the 2018 with very special release and this is the first collaboration between the label and one of my favorite electronic music artists: Timothy J. Fairplay. He doesn't need to be introduced. Everyone into the game knows who is that. 
"I’ve always been a contrary f**ker” -  thats what he say about himself. For me the guy is genius who does not resemble to anyone.
For this ninth release, TJF made a 4-track EP in his unique and reconizable style - solid release that can not be ignored.
I am very happy to collaborate with Nocta Numerica for the first premiere of the EP with the track "Pure Hex" -  5 minutes energetic cosmic flight with chic air percussion and romantic synthesizers - certainly the main decoration of the release.
"An Introduction To Consumer Electronics" will be out at the begining of 2018, limited to 300 copies. Don't sleep on this one !

Mysterious and masked techno talent Paul Villard unveils more of his musical weaponry on the Lone Romantic label this August.

Nothing is known about this artist but from the fact that, “strange and unusual superhuman powers and abilities” came to him after a “gamma accident.” He has released on Blind Allies and Applied Research, remixed Carl Finlow and is a producer with a cinematic electro sound.

Futuristic opener 'Side Effects’ is a bumping electro cut with a stuttering drum pattern and squelchy synth funk from another planet. ‘Submarine Limousine’ keeps up the cyborg styles with a crisp electro groove that is run through by sci-fi vocals and effects, while ’Fluid Dynamics’ is all watery synth droplets and fractured vocals panning about the mix. Taught bass stabs keep you on your toes and make for an otherwordly robot disco vibe.

The second half of this well-crafted EP starts with the glowing pads and creepy atmospheres of
‘Bioluminescence’, a classic Drexcyian electro jam that charges hard and deep into the cosmos. ‘Neon Death’ is an explosion of coruscated synth lines and bumping bass, tripped out machine sounds and warped electro-techno before closer ‘C.A.R.R.I.O.N.’ zones you out with intense ambient pads and modulated synths that are restless and paranoid.

With this majestic EP, Paul Villard paints and vivid picture of some distant interplanetary world.
