This was a little re-composition project that I decided to undertake.

Tekkonkinkreet is a Japanese animated film that I absolutely love everything about. All except for the original music in this scene - http://youtu.be/T--Z-k1jFl0?t=1m27s (Mute the Youtube audio; someone decided to stick The Prodigy over it). The original piece was an uninspiring bongo rhythm with a few extra horns and whistles over the top, but it never really captured the frenetic and kinetic energy of the visuals.

I wanted to see if I could do a better job by fusing traditional instrumentation with a more electronic force to drive things onward. See what you think!

The music cues as soon as the picture cuts to the car, at about 1:32. It ends just as White - the boy in the yellow jacket, jumps far off the high building.
