"What Happened to Craig Ellis" is a dark, gritty, underground rap album fashioned in the style of old rap classics. As my debut album, I spent a long, long time learning to produce and reach a standard I was happy with for my first project that I could look back on fondly and be proud of. Across this project, skits push the narriative of the album forward and link tracks that otherwise be not so clearly connected. This project is laced with heavy boom bap beats, eerie, dramatic trap beats and rock rap bangers that seemlessly mix together. Every track on this album comes from a real place within me; whether it be my frustrations with life and my mental health, to celebrating my passions or achievements, or exploring and pushing the dark twisted fantasies of my horrorcore interests - there is not a single track here that hasn't been meticulously worked on for hours and hours. I well and truly hope that you will find this project worth your time and have it stick with you for years to come.
