"Enter the Network is the debut, freshman album from Terrestrial Access Network 
which is themed around the idea of a futuristic world inhabited by intelligent, evolved dolphins who are known as the Hydrofins and their cyborg assistants. In this future world, there is a coup at work between the upper echelons of Hydrofin society to displace the Aquacore, the current ruler.

Terrestrial Access Network is a US-based electro producer based out of San Diego, California who has been producing electro for roughly five years. The freshman album is an eleven track tapestry and reflection of the distinct sound of T.A.N., while clearly nodding to electro pioneer influences."

Rising star Remotif returns to Especial with a full complement of his “trance fusion”, a modern-day ethnicity of breakbeat techno dance music. With releases on Coymix, and Space Lab, as well as soon appearing on the cult label Avidya, plus a burgeoning DJ career from Fabric to Berlin’s seminal Warning parties, his time and space is now.

A standout inclusion on the last Especial sampler “Comunion Especial” (EES040) was a prescient to a pure natural ability to create hypnotic grooves. Part of the burgeoning Bristol scene Joe “Remotif” Reddick has steadily built a series of releases and admirers, a psychedelic swirl of bouncing beats, oscillating rhythms and trippy vox that capture a moment of merging zeitgeist.

Starting with U 15, this is prime time, jacking Remotif, where melody, samples, and beats angelate, stretch and absorb, almost devotional, but always engaging the feet and mind, a blissful science, daring shanti awakenings.

Deep and dripping, the organic ooze of Glint's Pursuit follows. Tribal percussion, shimmery timbres, siren vocals, the sharpness created by slowing the bpms giving oxygen to our experience. Rising, rising.

The Elevated Place sums much of Remotif’s music. His personal highs (and lows) encompassed via sound design. Acidic, nocturnal, skywards, the unquantifiable stream of emotion is in there, a very genuine capturing of a personal journey wrought from machines, translating into a musical form. The lost chord, the funk electric. Whichever, the drop ethereal, the breaks supertight, the hope unrelenting. An apt EP title.

The end (for now) an inverse to Joe’s universe. The space between, the afters, the dub, the mantra, nodding to Bristol’s music history, The Sunken Place is a groove-led, break-neck, trip-not, head-swinging, deftly-made electronic micro-symphony. From the 90s to the 20’s, San Francisco to Stroom, Remotif rides the signal.

André Monet and D-Nox return for part three of their scintillating collaboration series.

You’ll be well-versed on André and D-Nox, leaders in their field and growing naturally as a production pairing. Part 3 of their Sessions series sees them continue to solidify, drawing every ounce of creativity from each other.

We open with ‘Vale du Sol’, a deep melodic groover for the early morning sets. Glorious icy pads and delicate keys create the sonic playground on which sparse drums and piano tell a melancholy tale. Next, ‘Six’ keeps up the tempo with a deep, bass-led vibe. Coming to life with wonky sonics and melodic percs, ‘Six’ is an audio melodrama played out in your mind. Finally, ‘Heaven’ opens with crisp percussion and a broken beat before a huge reese bass drops and arms raise. Drenched in old skool rave personality, the pianos and keys speak to simpler times of joyous dancefloors and naive hope realised through music. Heaven indeed.

London imprint Drifted Records bring the heat with their second solo output in the catalogue. DR002 - Spirals EP, written by Dublin born, Berlin based wiz ‘New Members’, displays a distinct voyage of the beloved 90s era with a modern innovation.

Side A showcases the heavy, rolling drum patterns, airy dub chords and cleverly placed hats that you wanna’ be hearing at 4am on a packed dance floor, with both ‘Spirals’ and ‘Mythos’.

Flipping the record gives us something else entirely. B1 offers a silky, screw-faced stomper ‘No Mind’, which features samples from the great Alan Watts. Followed by a timeless edition to round off this latest instalment, B2 gifts us a gorgeous and percussive Jungle number entitled ‘Secrets’.
