Following releases on Occult Research and Les Yeux Orange, Wav Fuzz continues his progression as a textural architect working in the dreamy underbelly of house and techno with his third release. The title track's arpeggiating stabs and soaring harmonies build into a powerful dancefloor hypnagogue, complemented by the triumphantly balearic and bubbling affirmation of “Lunar.” On the flip side, leftfield proto-house producer Moon B remixes “WVZ” into a funk-tinged, modulating specter, while analog-commandant Vertical67 reins “Lunar” into a cosmic testament to the power of four-on-the-floor.
