About the mix: Muy frecuentemente la poderosa influencia de les migrantes latines en la creación y desarrollo de la música house es tristemente olvidada. 
La selección de este set son retazos de lo que es, quizás, mi propia identidad híbrida: un migrante, latino y queer que vive en Berlín hace 12 años. Es quizás un scrapbook de experiencias y sentimientos transatlánticos.
En esta ciudad tuve el privilegio de conocer y aprender a experimentar la música house como una forma de arte que no está exenta de la espiritualidad humana. Y lo más importante: entender que para las personas queer, la mayoría de las veces una fiesta y un set son experiencias políticas.
Si una forma de arte creada por y para personas queer puede ser lo que sucede en las interminables horas de una pista de baile, crea espacios de encuentro y nos permite experimentar en la realidad utopías y futuros posibles, es sin duda un arte revolucionario. Y en la revolución, creo firmemente que todes querremos bailar.

Scibor is a Berlin / Brooklyn-based DJ & producer who had his start by organizing the SYITS collective events, which included the annual Techno Cabin parties outside of NYC. He has performed on several occasions at Basement, and the NYC-based Merge party. 

He hones a sound that is very groove-forward and blends between various soundscapes including organic textures, tribal rhythms, and hypnotic tones with industrial sound design influences.

"This mix was recorded during the peak of a beautiful Spring, and contains a few auditory easter eggs that are part of my day to day life in NYC. It comes at a major transition point in my life as I prepare to move to Berlin, and to some extent tries to encapsulate all of the mixed emotions that come with leaving home."
