Cricketbows is a midwestern, psychedelic tinged rock band that has roots in punk, blues, hard r&b, gospel, psych and prog rock with male and female lead vocals, flute, remarkably clean guitar lines and an impactful rhythm section. Described often with terms like "lush", "epic" and "spiritual" and compared to artists as wide ranging as The Flaming Lips, The Beatles, Jane's Addiction, Led Zeppelin, Syd Barrett era Pink Floyd, Fleetwood Mac, The Butthole Surfers, Nirvana, Jefferson Airplane, Roky Erickson and Hawkwind.
