From the early days (1990) I’ve been listening to and collecting dance music. The happy hardcore and trance scene where it all began! listening in my little box bedroom with my decks wishing I was old enough to go clubbing at the likes of club kinetic in stoke to listening to early house music from the quadrant park in Liverpool. 

Progressed to clubbing at the beginning of the Cream days in Liverpool loving the annex and courtyard with oakenfold, Sasha and cox 😎 A little clubbing holiday to Ibiza in 1996 and then Clubbed all over the north west afterwards - Cream, Garlands, The State, 051, G-bar (Liverpool), Sankeys a firm favourite in Manchester, along with Back to Basics in Leeds and Miss Moneypenny’s in the midlands. Lots of local nights in North Wales called Manipulate hosted early sets from Yousef, Justin Robertson, Lewis Boardman to name a few. 

Another little stint when the Swedish House Mafia hit the scene and also Tiesto. Sensation White in Amsterdam along with nights in the UK.

Still have big love for the tunes, always will 🕺😎 

Had some brilliant nights over last few years at the WHP in Manchester enjoying Camelphat, Bicep and I’m still going strong. 

Have a set of decks for the vinyl collection I’ve amassed over the years and some pioneer controllers to boot. 

Still have a few years left in me on the club scene I think 🤪🥴🕺😎

Profound Sessions has been born out of the love of quality deeper tracks full of smooth grooves, slo-mo beats and deep bubbly bass.
Each week will feature a mix from either resident Craig Turner or a featured DJ guest. Could be a well known DJ, producer/remixer or a reletively unkown artist that deserves to be heard. One thing that will be guaranteed is the quality of both the tunes and the mix.

DJ / Producer based in Liverpool. I have been lucky enough to DJ at some of the best clubs in the world, Sankeys, Space ibiza, Amnesia, Zoo Project, Pacha Ibiza and Pacha London, Ministry of Sound, The EGG, Brixton Electric, XOYO and run my own event called I:AM across the UK who have featured artists such as Yousef, Bontan, Riva Starr, Proudly People, Mark Fanciulli, Sam Divine, Sonny Whartone, Anek to name but a few and have hosted events at unique locations across the country. I manage and run I:AM records which launches August 2021.

I have been a dj and collector of music for many years before i began to study music production over the last three years. So far I have has releases on Melomane Records, NuPanda, Whartone, Subtractive Recordings and charted with 4 of my last track reaching #7 in the tech house top ten on Beatport and a #2 on Hyped Edit. I have had multiple plays on DJ Pioneers Mid week house show on KISS FM along with features on Data Transmission

Dance Music, club music or simply dance anthems is a range of electronic music genres made largely for nightclubs, raves and festivals. Various Dance Music genres have evolved over the last 40 years. For example, electro, techno, house, trance, drum and bass, etc. Stylistic variation within an established Dance Music genre can lead to the emergence of what is called a sub-genre. Hybridization, where elements of two or more genres are combined, can lead to the emergence of an entirely new genre of Dance Music.

Cjbiggs  london based dj and producer. His life has been all about music from a young age when he first got a set of turntables and started mixing Garage and Drum And Bass. A holiday to Ibiza for the first time changed his love of music to the underground House scene. He is mainly known for his underground sounds from playing in and around london at clubs and boat parties.
 
He got his first break doing sets in small clubs around London, The Midlands and the South of the UK building up a network of followers and increasing the passion to make his own music. He is known for his  moody tech/deep house vibe with catchy synths to moody dark rollin basslines that will shake any club and get you dancing until the early hours. His influences come from huxley, dale howard, shadow child , laura jones, maya jane coles.
