A new week means new musical talent coming up on PHW and today we are delivering fresh blood to the scene when we bring on a brand new producer (that we welcome onboard the scene and our flagship) for the first time. Hailing from Copenhagen in Denmark, we have the great pleasure to present you one of the guys making music at home secretly and once he showed us this production, we immediately saw some great potential in this track and once we got the great light to tie this one up, we started to make progress to build the release. We hope the Eric Bala alias is here to stay, as he here showcase the there is a chance for everyone to start a musical career. For us it has never been about the names and will never be, it's about the melodic hook and the arrangements. "Mutopia 0101" as this production is baptized as, is a warm progressive production with great uplifting feel. There are some superb melodic arrangements, swelling synth riffs and lovely pads that is just brilliant and we are thrilled to deliver it to you. On remix duty you will get some fine work again from one of our great buddies of the label, rising Dutch starlet Morrison Kiers that return to our place once more, to deliver another magnificent remix for us. As always he does the magic when building up a warm atmosphere, using cool melodic hooks, warm bass sounds and through those textures, bringing on the warm and atmospheric feel he is getting known for. We for sure is thrilled to have him back with us, as he brings on a dope progressive production once more! The 2nd remix is a delivery from a newcomer in our house, and a new member of the PHW family. Hailing from Morocco, the young talented duo behind the A.Squared moniker showcase that they are someone to keep an eye out for, as they bring on their first imprint for us. Being seen as a part of Nueva Digital, Round Triangle and Bomba Records in the past, we for sure feel they got some great potential and we do think you are going to like what they have done here. Bringing on a more deep touch with some more groovy elements, still with the uplifting and warm feel kept, we think you got a superb track coming up here, that definitely will be something to write home about. Another warm and emotional release from PHW is here, lets see if you feel it is something you want to support, we do think so! <

Eric Bala - Mutopia 0101 (Morrison Kiers Remix)

More music is to land today, this time the Norwegian duo behind Phex & Xobia brings the original to us. his is a track we really liked right from the first listen. Smooth melodic work, creative textures and crisp sound design is what you are to get. The breakdown and build-up is a great show in how to be creative and layer up tension. We are so pleased to bring you these up and coming guys and showcase their music.

As you pretty often get,there is also a full line-up of creative interpretations from people all around the globe with 3 different remixes coming up as well. 

First out this time is another magnificent effort from UK based PHW resident Daniel Cattlin, more known under his Intrinity moniker. As we are used to from him, he brings on his full artillery of melodic hooks, big plucks and warm pads working this production like it should. We are really pleased with what we hear from Intrinity as always and we hope it will get attention from you as well.
Next on remix duty is a welcome return from Solarbeam who we are happy to see back with us. It’s been a while since we had him with us. He brings on a driving interpretation this time, using some bigger bass chords and driving kick drums. It is as always very melodic with a small vocal chop added on that fits very well. We are glad to Solarbeam back again!

Last out is a long time server with us and one that actually brought on the 2nd original release ever on PHW, back in October 2012 when it all started for us, This will be his 6th appearance on PHW and we do hope we will have the promising and rising talent from Krzysztof Palicki with for  long time to come. He brings on a banging production here, be ready for big and pounding sounds here, “the Krzysztof Palicki.style”. It’s another banger from the young producer doing his journey on the trance scene!

Overall a really nice release again we feel, and we are so happy to have all these guys with us in the PHW family, let’s hope they all find new supporters through this release, we do feel they definitely deserve it!

NTEIBINT is the alter ego of the talented Greek producer George Bakalakos. Following EP’s on Bang Gang and Kitsuné and remixes for Jamie Lidell and Alex Gopher, Eskimo Recordings is proud to present his Never Without You EP.
 
Part charming pop, part organic disco, the original version of ‘Never Without You’ is one of many stunning tracks on our latest compilation The Blue Collection. This ode to love and longing now gets a full single release, including three fresh remixes and the brand new original ‘Baby’.
 
First remix comes from Bluford Duck, who’s featured on quality deep house labels like Jeudi, Suara and Sleazy Deep. His surprising take on the original creates a mood that’s perfect for any dance-floor.
 
Domestic Technology is a sunkissed musical project, heavily influenced by the sounds of the 80s and disco in general. Excellent rework by this Russian producer, approved by Aeroplane.
 
We discovered Gespleu through Satin Jackets. It is the alter-ego production guise of Anton Lanski who started producing at the turn of the millennium. Lanski's affair with sound "through heart, hands and computer tools" have led to a raft of successful releases and remixes, and this is no exception.

Nueva Digital has got one mega EP release for you; Dave Pineda our A&R Label Manager has 
outdone himself again by managing to mastermind  this showcase of amazing Japanese producers, 
featuring 'Look Human Feel Human' by melodic master from Fukui, Ogura Hisataka
aka 06R of whom you may all remember from our debut compilation release 'Progress Report : 
Verano 2013! ND137 06R's heated track is taken to new heights by producers Ryo Nakamura and 
Nhato; each with their own unique flavor. 

Ogura's '06R Rework' is a entirely new different take of his original mix, a sublime journey through the 
emotional ebbs of time; and in addition now it is complimented by an atmospheric, cooled down breaks 
remix sure to calm the mind. 

Prog house/trance producer Ryo Nakamura comes with a revised vision including new piano riffs 
and filtered lead lines. 

Finally, mega popular producer Nhato (Tatsuya Fukumuro ), who you may know as the sound director 
over at Otographic Arts label, with releases by Shingo Nakamura, has made an appearance here at
Nueva with his remix. Epic floating pads, shining uplifting arpeggios and an arrangement built to 
drive a dancefloor into mania is at the heart of Nhato's remix of 'Look Human Feel Human'.

[ND136] 06R - Look Human, Feel Human (Ryo Nakamura Remix)

This week we kick off with another brilliant release on PHW, this one coming from EDM veteran hailing from Russia, Andrey Stadnichenko aka Evave. As he returns to out label, with the follow up of his "Talk To Me" EP, released with us back in September 2013, he once more showcase what a great producing act he is.

"Personal Sky", as this original is baptized as is another energetic progressive production filled with high intense elements, cool vocal loops and melting melodies, add some groovy bass chords and a pumping kick drum, and you have another dancefloor destroyer ready from the Russian ace! 

The remixes coming up is an all UK affair, with 3 of the most promising producers being lined-up from that country. It's with great joy that we welcome back D05, Zuubi and Mathaden to the label, with their always clever work.

Being a stellar figure not only on PHW but all over the scene, being known for his characteristic sound design with some of the "nastiest" bass grooves on his repertoire, we are so happy to bring back Deepen Ravalia aka D05 to our roster and as always he delivers some fine progressive music for us and you. With his immense talent to build a great mix between the retro filled bass grooves and melodies in progression, he once more delivers some serious beats, grooves and textures when taking on the remix challenge for this production from Evave. We can't say nothing less than we are stunned by his performance when he delivers another great production, including his signature sound design.

Ashraf Soobiah aka Zuubi, one of our most frequent producers on PHW, returns once more to us, with an energetic production were he's given the original ideas from Andrey a more club oriented feel, with a stompin' groove and big saw sounds to make it a production working well in the clubs when it is time for the peak time productions. With crisp percussion work, a bouncy feel and the tempo being pitched a bit more, he definitely knows how to build a clubby feel, with some electro filled elements that definitely will take this track into the club floors. A great atmosphere is built up, and he once more delivers some progressive goodness, using a vocal line in the break to give it another dimension and an atmosphere, built for the clubs.

Last out, but definitely not least, we are thrilled to welcome back another rising producer from the UK, Jordan Hubbard, that works his music under his Mathaden moniker. He is definitely name to have on the radar as he has shown consistently the past year, what a great and hard working producer he is, and he also showcase that hard work pays off in the end as he is skyrocketing the charts with his skillful productions. Here he is pulling the tempo down a bit and delivers a more stripped down and laidback version of Andreys original ideas to build it his own way, and we are so happy for this delivery, where he has taken another twist to make it his own, it's pure mint progressive music. Another storming PHW release is in the house, and we believe there is something for everyone, depending on what way you want to go and how you want to use this track!

Evave - Personal Sky (D05 Remix)

Cloudive is a side project focused on modern Deep House sound. It is run by Aleksey Yakovlev, a resident artist at Silk Music. Intricate Records, the parent label of Intricate Cuts, already released Aleksey’s track «I Funk You» as a part of the annual compilation «Intricate Sessions Volume 01», but that production was done under his own name and co-written with a fellow artist Airdraw. Now the time has come for a solo release under the alias Cloudive - Intricate Cuts was chosen as a proper platform for this type of Aleksey’s activity. One of the original works at the EP, «Passion», is a blistering emotional track gradually flaring up to the point of culmination and rapidly fading, exactly as it frequently happens to a feeling inside a human’s soul. «Reckless», in contrary, is remarkable because of some moderate restraint and monotonicity which add extra dancing temperament. The core element of both productions is loop-like vocal part which is characteristic for the majority of Cloudive releases, as well as piano contaminations appearing here and there from time to time.

Rūdolfs Elvis Zariņš, the Latvian producer, and also head honcho at the great Decimal Lightness label is back with us, this time with an original called “Revelation” through his REZarin moniker.

For those who remember, he’s been with us before, with highly saluted remix for James Woods - Penrose back in October 2013. He also appeared on a remix from Mimax - Liberty Heights just a month after that so it would be fair to say he is  familiar name on the label, and more is to come. With his distinguished rolling saws and energetic style of producing, you should be aware there is another ticking bomb coming up today.

“Revelation” is fair to say another rocking gem coming up from the young Latvian, filled with a great mixture between aggressive saws, fat kicks and rolling percussion. Blend that up with some qualitative piano play and we assure you, there is something special to all of you, needing an energetic boost on a day like this!

You will also find 2 great remixes coming from great friends of the label. First up is the always friendly macedonian producer Digital Affliction, someone that we all have seen quite a bit of through our release schedule. It’s with warm hearts that we bring him back for a superb progressive trance stormer. Cape Town, South Africa -- for some, it's one of the most remote locations on earth, practically the stuff of legends. For Nate Raubenheimer, the tip of the southernmost African country is home. Armin van Buuren has said of the man, "Everything he touches turns to musical gold." Really, there can be no stronger endorsement, nor can there be a statement more accurate.

His is a classic tale -- inspired at the age of 8, it wasn't long before his life's journey led him to audio engineering school, and ultimately, to the largest festivals in the world. Protoculture's fans are filled with an almost feverish adoration, the kind of hard-earned reputation that only someone with genuine talent can enjoy. Success hasn't been all roses for the producer, however, as his hometown is one of the worst spots to travel from for an internationally touring DJ.

'Music Is More Than Mathematics' is an appropriate title for this exceptional album, and there's absolutely no formula for what Protoculture does. If "awesome" could be bottled into a jar, it would be this record. Finding better descriptors is as pointless as trying to compete with his musical talents. 
Even though each record radiates the artist behind the controls, Protoculture was able to attract talented producers, songwriters, and vocalists to help realize this record. Christian Burns, Johnny Yono, Max Graham, Jennifer Rene, and Tricia McTeague are some of the multitalented collaborators that made 'Music Is More Than Mathematics' possible, and their respective contributions seem to come at the precise time they're needed in this musical journey.

Certain albums defy conventional logic, and certain sounds are so transcendental that it's hard to see "trance" as anything but the right term. This is a special release, and one that covers as much territory as Protoculture's frequent trips around the globe.
