We are very proud to confirm the release date and full tracklisting for the debut album from Maztek. Three Point Zero will be arriving on 15th December!

Based around the concept that we as a species have come to a point in our own evolution where man, machine and spirituality have all merged together, Maztek’s aptly named ThreePointZero explores the relationship between the real and the cyber world.

Featuring an array of well-chosen collaborations of both vocalists and producers alike – such as Dutch hip hop crew Dope D.O.D, Hardware / Virus’s BTK, Viper’s Insideinfo, Ram’s Audio, Italian new blood Disprove and vocalist MC Coppa. Maztek has created a cogent and extremely innovative long player that once again proves why DnB will never die.

The album will be available on 3xLP, digipak CD and digital formats. Also look out for exclusive album bundle deals avilable only from the Hardware store.

Maztek - Sprocket

This track was inspired by my trips to Germany, and Austria, and spending time with guys like Phace and Mefjus. The name represents the swinging bassline, two notes in tandem with each other, having a call and response. I loved the visual image it brings, but the track was only an idea when a good friend convinced me to finish it. Simplistic, but straight to the point.

Towering above them, the planetary shards of the blast site splayed open like broken petals, vast in scale and overwhelming in the destruction they represented. They looked on in quiet awe as the now separated segment of the planet spun on the edge of the gravity horizon, the last remnants of atmosphere clinging to its rugged shape tenuously. The weapon had been more effective than they could have ever imagined, this was a beginning – the promise of their fate in the ruins of this freshly broken planet.

A pair of legendary Bulgarian producers unite, with COOH & L 33 bringing their full array of audio manipulation weaponry to bear in the creation of BROKEN and POWER SOURCE. Drawing on the rich history of both artists’ sounds, the outcome is a set of tracks that deliver both fearsome sonics and an intense dose of funk, wound in a deeply futuristic sensibility. OTHERCIDE RECORDS delivers once again, proving itself to be the dynamic label animal that fans of a specific cross section of drum and bass can really get their teeth into right now.

The follow up to the remix pack of ''Prophets Of The Doom'' that was initially release in fourth quarter of 2017, contains seven energetic remix cuts by some of FS' closest allies, most valued artists and scene favorites. Rotterdam based ''ABIS'' turns 3RDKND's ''Fire & Blood'' inside out with some lethal production skills.''Agressor Bunx'' gives Demon Shogun a splendid treatment whilst respecting the attitude of the original cut. ''Inward, Hanzo and Randie'' team up for a the rework of ''Sellout''. Whilst remaining the ambiance of the original, a layer of sturdy sounds are added. ''Maztek'' uses his years of remix experience to create the tough sounding refix of ''Benga''.
Additional remixes come from Czech Republic based  Holotrope, Fragz from Portugal and Deathmachine from United Kingdom.

MIZO returns to NEUROPUNK RECORDINGS with the ROCKFALL EP, which bears forth five of the producer's sinister sonics unto eagerly awaiting ears. Following the producer’s recent efforts including his Icy Wyrm EP on Eatbrain and his previous single Hellhound//Mechanical paw on NEUROPUNK, ROCKFALL sees MIZO deliver another set of sonics in the style for which he has become notorious, blending unrestrained aggression and uniquely tinged synth tonalities across the EP’s five tracks.

ESHELON opens the EP from on high, driving its way towards a sonic precipice on the back of a syncopated rhythm that rebounds and resounds within a set of deviously dissonant synth stabs. From this precipice then launches the frenetic percussion of ROCKFALL, within which tumbles an electric arpeggio that only amplifies the track’s already blinding rhythmic speed. BAD DREAMS next lashes out with the nightmarish timbre of its slithering basslines, which wind their way through the track’s mysterious atmosphere and pause only briefly as they prepare to strike a second time. PATHOGEN follows this display by warping its own basses into monstrously mutated forms, and is followed by ROLL DEEP featuring MC KRYPTOMEDIC, who’s minimalistic lyrical rhythms provide a funk fueled closing for the EP’s final track.

With the ROCKFALL EP MIZO places his production talents on clear display as he imbues the five tracks within with an inimitable energy that finds a fitting home on NEUROPUNK RECORDINGS.
