As 2021 comes to a close, we are proud to present an extended, Christmas Special episode of the Soulvent Records Podcast. Mike Drop is joined by Label Manager, Joe Goss and Jack Pola, one half of Pola & Bryson to reflect on a busy year for the label and relive some of the notable moments. The guys talk through the 2021 catalogue and play their picks from each release. Whilst this episode might provide respite from Mike's mixing, it's replaced by Waffle mountain. Jack Stone from Solothurn has been behind the turntables since 1996.  At that time he mainly played hardcore & gabber, in 2000 he fully converted to Drum & bass with his best friend and 5 years later he co-founded the "SubCulture Movement Crew", with which he organized local events  until 2009. Around the same time he was also a resident DJ in the legendary Rohstofflager Club in Zürich. as part of the Bassride collective. Jack Stone has also been passionate about music production and he succesfully released "Amaru" and "R.E.B.O.V.S.K.I." on hard-edge Zurich drum & bass label "Moving2Fast". Jack's style is very uncompromising and full of Dancefloor energy, check out his exclusive bag of rollers laced with a selection of his own productions for the latest edition of our podcast, enjoy!
