Reaching out after our call out for content for this year's Advent calendar, Nick Slater kindly offered his services and after a proper dig through his music collection, he has turned out another epic mix for us to share with you all. I was lucky enough to receive the mix a couple of days ago and after rinsing it proper, all I can say is that my senses are on fire! Music from the best label on the planet, Finger Lickin' Records, is well-represented because as you all know, that has been the home of the Drumattic Twins for so many years, but there are lots of other forgotten-about treats from around the time of when FLR was in it's pomp. Nick told me he had a massive amount of fun putting this mix together and it can be heard, loud and very clear! Have a great one, party people!

The Stanton Warriors have disography about as long as my arm ! Consisting of Dominic Butler and Mark Yardley, the duo have performed internationally with their infamous Stanton Sessions parties in Europe, North America, Asia and Australia. Their name was taken from a manhole cover, made by Stanton Ironworks, which seemed fitting with their style of underground, cutting edge music.

The is so much to be said about this duo and their influence in electronic music today that i could go on forever....
This mix from back in December 2007 was recorded LIVE at Klub 4 in Ljubljana, Slovenia and showcases the typical Booty Bass Breaks sound from them at that time. Enjoy !

Crash Party… DJ, Producer and Graphic Designer. He also runs his own label, Big Beat Sundays and regularly streams on Twitch with the Global Funk Fam, that he co-founded.

Crash’s production style is a mixture of cut-n-paste ethos and modern production values and has released music with Ghetto Funk, Scour Records, Cuttin’ It Fine, Big Beat Sundays and Breakbeat Paradise. Crash also featured on Dutty Moonshine Big Band’s album ‘City Of Sin’ and he also has writing and production credits for Aldo Vanucci including his recent hit ‘Impossible’. 

As a DJ, Crash, under various aliases, has DJed from New York to Ibiza and all over the UK, from Clubs to Pubs, Festivals to Special Events. Musically Crash combines Beats, Breaks, Funk, Bass music and more in his sets, drawing from new and classic music alike.
