About Berto:
Alberto Taboas aka Berto is a humbling artist who loves to tell stories through his mixes. Berto started the art of DJing in 1990 in Orlando FL after being influence by DJ D-Xtreme, DJ Chronic, DJ Stylus and Rob-E. Through out the years of his musical journey he has been able to play at clubs and festivals around all of Florida. Hip Hop Ghetto Funk Mix

This episode is a break from my usual format to bring you BOTH the sets I played at the Boomtown Garden Centre put on by Deevstock at Boomtown Fair the other week. 1st hour is the high energy house set I had the privilege of opening the festival with on the Thursday, with a funky, filthy breakbeat mix in the second hour that I played late Friday night to a messy, up for it dancefloor.

The  Different Strains Show (EP2)

Crash Party… DJ, Producer and Graphic Designer. He also runs his own label, Big Beat Sundays and regularly streams on Twitch with the Global Funk Fam, that he co-founded.

Crash’s production style is a mixture of cut-n-paste ethos and modern production values and has released music with Ghetto Funk, Scour Records, Cuttin’ It Fine, Big Beat Sundays and Breakbeat Paradise. Crash also featured on Dutty Moonshine Big Band’s album ‘City Of Sin’ and he also has writing and production credits for Aldo Vanucci including his recent hit ‘Impossible’. 

As a DJ, Crash, under various aliases, has DJed from New York to Ibiza and all over the UK, from Clubs to Pubs, Festivals to Special Events. Musically Crash combines Beats, Breaks, Funk, Bass music and more in his sets, drawing from new and classic music alike.
