Crate 17’s first release introduces Jaen — a project in motion, shapeshifting between impulse and introspection. It marks the beginning of a label intent on embracing transformation.

On the A side, “Electrons” launches with kinetic purpose. A cut that dives into electro wobble territory, weaving pulsing basslines with a frenetic energy. The A2 “Hertz” weaves intimate basslines and subtle shifts together, creating an infectious groove that bridges Jaen's vision on house and electro.

On the B side, the mood shifts into deeper, more reflective spaces. “Collector” stretches out, patiently revealing itself layer by layer — a moment of tension, then sonic release. Finally, “La Foudre,” slides into dubby terrain, murky and deep, where Jaen's introspective side embraces the richness of atmospheric sound.

Crate 17 is about evolution, where the club, the self, and the sound are always in motion.
