Propaganda011's fourth release sees Johannesburg based, label co-founder, Xerowan (formerly known as Point 4) deliver his debut release under his brand new alias. 

Foot Sack opens up the release with a tense, ominous introduction, with the tone set by arpeggiated synths and dark, thunderous stabs. Enter the drop, enormous distorted bass, punching snare and dark atmospherics push the peak time energy.

The B-Side, Can't Stop, is a dance floor heater. Murky drones, stabby synths and sliced up vocal chops build into a heavy drop featuring driving modulated basses, hidden amen breaks and complimentary synth stabs.

Marking their debut appearance on the burgeoning Perth label ProtoCode, acclaimed Adelaide duo
V O E return with a rugged new single entitled “Where You Belong”.

Formed of Tevlo and CARZi – both stellar singers and producers in their own right – the rising Aussie
tag-team have taken the drum and bass scene by storm since banding together in 2018, amassing
an international following off the back of releases on the globally renowned Liquicity, China’s
Unchained Recordings and Black Sun Empire’s Blackout Music NL.

Departing from the tender, poppy sonics of their most recent output, “Where You Belong” is one of
the group’s most blistering songs to date and a perfect fit for the ProtoCode camp. While CARZi has
lent her silky vocals to many of the pair’s latest releases, it’s Tevlo who steps up to the mic on this
occasion to lay down an ominous topline. Drawing audible influences from both neurofunk and
electronic rock, the track combines distorted stabs with juddering, mechanical whirs and shrieking
synth work, reaching an adrenaline-pumping pinnacle.

With four versions of the track included on the single, including a club mix and an extended mix,
there’s plenty to pick from. “Where You Belong” drops 7 December via ProtoCode Records.
