The epochal energy of "Ascension" captivated us from the very first moment, making it an ideal intro track. With its cinematic soundtrack reminiscent of "Vangelis", Italian producer Riccardo De Polo has crafted a sublimely ethereal experience that transports listeners into the vast expanse of space. As stars and planets drift by, the music beckons us to explore further, to surrender ourselves to the moment. The low strings serve as a booster until the rocket engine roars to life and the spaceship disappears into another galaxy.
Subsequently the polyrhythmic sequence of "Wahnstimmung" spirals abstractly far below the cerebral cortex. The driving bass drum, paired with shakers and percussion, propels the composition forward at a steady pace. The tension intensifies, painting a picture of liquid metal pouring into a melting pot. Pure, stripped-down techno as we know it from its origins.
"Inception" hypnotically takes you into a deep state of trance, engulfing you in a tribe's energy. It’s truly a classic Cocoon sound that has its very own place in Sven's sets. The vigor is palpable, the shimmering sequence will make the dust visibly glow above the open-air dance floors while the air begins to shimmer. Noisy snare drums heat the narrowed arrangement to the absolute boiling point. This is the energy we have been looking for!

Survival Tactics label boss Tal Fussman starts 2025 with the ‘Everybody’ EP, arriving on the label 28th February 2025, featuring two massive remixes by KiNK and Elisa Bee. Fussman’s titular single, ‘Everybody,’ sees dub chords tumble over a steady beat, a vocal sample keeping pace before shimmering keys create a gorgeous dance-floor moment at the halfway mark.

Stepping up to remix Tal Fussman's ‘Everybody’, Sardinia’s Elisa Bee infuses the track with swinging organic rhythm, resampling the original’s chords into a playful stab bouncing off the drums while stripping back the vocal. Bulgarian lynchpin KiNK then flips ‘Everybody’ into a strobelight-inducing cut complete with bubbling synths and rave-ready hoover sounds, contributing his tried-and-tested flair to an EP that is the complete Techno package. Berlin-based DJ, producer, and label owner Tal Fussman is known for his varied discography on labels such as
Innvervisions, Drumpoet, Dyinamic, Laurent Garnier’s COD3QR, and Radio Slave’s Rekids. He now returns to his Survival Tactics label with ‘Everybody’, a versatile offering that’s already supported by the likes of Honey Dijon, Ben Sims, Dave Clarke, and many more.

The Soulful Techno king Gabriel Ananda makes his Truesoul debut with a re-master of his 2006 classic ‘Doppelwhipper’. The package also comes with two brand new remixes from Drumcode favourite Marco Faraone and the hotly tipped Layton Giordani. 

The EP opens with Marco Faraone’s remix, which samples Kings of Tomorrow’s ‘KOT Anthem (Soul Vision Remix)’. This takes ‘Doppelwhipper’ to dizzy new heights, keeping the obscure roots of the track and adding a rolling bass line that will bring any dancefloor to sheer hysteria. Next up is a re-master of Ananda’s seminal ‘Doppelwhipper’, a track which has well and truly stood the test of time. A connoisseur of the uncommon, his curious sounds float through almost 10 minutes of pure hedonism. Closing out the package is Layton Giordani’s interpretation of the track that is set to be a firm club favourite. Pounding through the gears, this one will do some real damage.

An undisputed classic of the electronic music scene, Steve Bug’s 'Loverboy' was released on the first Poker Flat release ever 'Double Action' back in 1999.

Over the years it has been reworked only by a few - but the list includes the likes of Josh Wink and Guido Schneider. Now, as part of the 20 years of Poker Flat celebration, more names are added to that remix list with two new superb remixes from Catz ‘n Dogz and Acid Pauli.

Catz ‘n Dogz are a Polish producer duo making big waves in recent years, and their version of 'Loverboy' brims with their unmistakable energy - chugging, hypnotic groove and tonnes of effects and melodic twists and turns.

Berlin legend Acid Pauli approaches it from a different angle - stripping away elements until a deeply trippy skeletal house track remains.
