Club Designs proudly announces the upcoming release of Darius the Barbarian's highly anticipated EP - CDMUSIC011. The NYC based certified bass freak, known affectionately as DTB, is back with another project to consume. Darius brings a dynamic blend of sexual energy and in your face lyrics to his latest creation, set to drop on August 16th.

All four tracks, co-produced by Moodrich and Germany based duo Peter Sniffin, are raw, raunchy, and ravey, solidifying Darius the Barbarian's reputation as a powerhouse in the booty tech music realm. His eclectic style, honed through a strong back catalogue that includes releases on prolific labels like International Chrome and Philtrax, as well as his most recent acclaimed release, ‘Body Gospel’ on Appareltronic.

In addition to his musical prowess, Darius the Barbarian captivated audiences with a guest appearance on the hit reality show Squid Games, further solidifying his status as a multifaceted entertainer.

This project was designed to permit the ego to get big, and to release all care of the next hoe thinking.

Emotional Voyage welcomes Lai Raw once again to be onboard with his stellar productions. Having joined the label as
a core member last year, it is only natural to follow up with his first solo EP, and we are extremely happy to have these
fantastic productions on our imprint. The marvelous soundscape and superb mixing, in combination with originality, is
something that we cherish a lot.
Lai Raw's EP ‘Meca Night’ holds 5 tracks, including a remix by UrbnMowgli & Moodrich and a reprise of its title track.
Meca Night showcases a wide range of his sonic palette, which defines Lai Raw’s sound. His approach to drum
programming and chopped vocals highlight this.
The title track ‘Meca Night’ was started during a holiday close to Lai Raw’s hometown, a place called Caños De Meca.
Based on a patch from his travel synth of choice, the Syntakt, it explores stripped-back, progressive arrangements.
‘Hear It All Day’ is a footwork homage combined with Lai Raw’s melodic songwriting experimentations. ‘Khaos Lime’ is
more than a simple club tool: It showcases a more performance-based aspect to Lai Raw’s productions as the bassline
and bleepy synth chirps all emerged from a full-on jam with the Access Virus synth.
Acid synth lines, footwork, and breakbeat rhythms dominate throughout the EP. Its bouncy, upbeat, to dreamy, deep yet
unconstrained powerful mood makes this a captivating and modern dance floor EP.

[PREMIERE] Lai Raw - Khaos Lime [Emotional Voyage]

Vancouver/Paris -based imprint Club Designs is back with its biggest compilation to date.

CDMUSIC012, the latest in the label's ongoing series of electro inspired VAs, boasts an eclectic mix of producers from across the globe, paying their respect to the classic Detroit genre.

The compilation features music from Vancouver heroes Greazus, French DMC champion Saligo, Berlin’s Insomniast, and label alumni Shanx, alongside label co-founders Sharkki, who teams up with hot French producer Body Hook, and Garneau who brings a deeper cut to the pack.

Tokyo newcomer Kanse keeps it old school, while Aleister and Minor Sine Project bring the modern productions into play. Sonically, the release traverses the full scope of the imprint's sound, with streamlined percussive club tracks, bass-heavy workouts, and leftfield electro explorations that nod to both UK club culture and North America's undergrounds.

Club Designs has been steadily building a reputation as a stronghold of gritty and raw dance music, and CDMUSIC012 sounds like both a rallying cry and a celebration of the collective energy that powers the label.
