VIP Mix is steering away from progressive trance to infuse G-House, Trap, and 2000-10s bass music elements. The result is a warm, end-of-summer vibe with emphasis on rhythmic intricacies and infectious grooves.

Canelle Doublekick's UK hardhouse-inspired remix adds another layer of diversity, offering a brisk and diva-infused experience that is perfect for energetic club sets while HI ROSIE's remix draws inspiration from Shonen Bat's VIP version, delivering exceptional bass textures, crafting a hard drum-infused anthem tailored for expressive moments on massive sound systems.

Swooh's remix skillfully maneuvers between 4/4 and breaks, presenting a dynamic and efficient addition to the EP with its acidic electro infusion that leads to Zulu's epic electronic crossover concluding this piece with a masterful blend of contemporary styles resulting in an afro-emo-club ballad.

A smaller format compared to previous years brings a strict inner circle of friends, collaborators, and supporters who brought their well-crafted material, ensuring the highest quality so far. As soon as they enter the immensity of this human jungle, they face the terrible blue guru in front of his mob bath. His skin as tough as bark, his teeth as sharp as a citrus seed, his saliva as acidic as a harbinger of evil. He holds a bottle in his hand, perfuming the atmosphere with his bitter scent. A cloud of bubbles fills the air, purifying the senses of the delirious spectators. It's time to take a deep breath and the rocket takes off again.

● Nantes-based Collectif Solstice announces their first Various Arists compilation, with the participation of 13 artists coming from various electronic scenes (France, United Kingdom, Germany, Brazil). First volume is focused on the minimal & darker side of club music, while second volume is brighter & funkier.

After members of the collective met up with a number of new artists and producers in 2023, the idea of the Various Artist project quickly came to life and led to a meeting with Diego Verissimo, a sound engineer and producer who will be responsible for mastering the project.

For the next musical offering by London based producer Shawn Cartier, he delves into a different sound across 2 tracks, which mould his existing hard hitting electro centric tracks with a more modern and emotive framework, slowing down the pace and raising the energy.

The release opens with “Lemon” which is the more melodic of the 2 tracks. Rich arpeggiated synth lines rip through quirky mystical pads while all being grounded by a pumping rhythm section. This track also features Shawn’s keen use of sampling as seen by the progressive guitar section to close off the composition.

The last track “Revival Police” adds a ripe dancefloor functionality to the release. Huge warping bass tones and dancing aquatic melodies meet with a wailing 303 to complete this one. One for the middle of a set to get the arms in the air.

It's been a long time in the making, and here we have a collection of electronic tracks from 9 absolutely incredible FLINT (female/lesbian/intersex/nonbinary/trans) producers from all around the world. With support from BBC Radio 6, Kool FM and Rinse/SWU, the tracks have already been doing bits.

Blissful queer UKG, thumping UK funky, euphoric, skin-tingling techno, sassy 150 stompers, sexy analogue ghetto bangers, slamming 160 - we've got it all, and more besides. This V.A takes you on a proper tour through every mood, speed and vibe that underground dance music has to offer. It's an absolute toolbox for any DJ that considers themselves multi-genre, and even for the non-DJ's it's got a track for every occasion. It's a testament to the eclectic nature of dance music, and also of people.

All proceeds from this V.A will go to the Trans Asylum Seeker Support Network, a non-profit, anti-state and grassroots organisation that supports trans refugees in every aspect of life after arriving in the USA. The money will specifically go to helping Noah, a trans person who is a refugee from Palestine.
