Ive been MC'ing since I was about 18 - 19 

My favourate style is old skool scouse and donk aswell as the harder poky and spanish bounce 

I also dabble in a bit of house edm and hardcore stuff

my main goals are to get original music made and i do that with my good friend George McDougal (geo mcd) with our BounceCore tracks

also i would love to achieve a residency at a venue or club 

I was about 17 when i first heard an MC track pretty sure it was cricketers - i spy then heard stuff from the likes of wigan pier maximes pleasure rooms and just fell in love with the style of music! then at 18 i recorded myself MCing in the studio for the first time and at a music course at college recorded myself mcing to some tracks the quality was well shit and alot of the lyrics were like half taken from mcs i liked but people told me i had a gd voice and some potential so ive spent alot of time working on my style and writing as well as freestyle ability and hope to keep improving.
currently MCing for QFX really enjoying it!! Pure Bounce is the live Facebook show i do with Sean Rodgers diff class that guy on decks and mic tune in sundays

I have more than twenty years of experience in the music industry. I started getting into music when I was about 16 years of age - listening to Pete Tong on a Friday night and trying my hardest to get his essential tracks – tbh this was really the start of it all for me.  I have always been into dance music ranging from house, vocal house, soulful house, electro, and trance with my main influences being Pete tong, Todd terry, Carl Cox, Armin Val Helden, Judge Jules, Chicane, Lange and so many more I can’t put them down or I would be writing forever. 
I started out in local pubs and clubs across Scotland and also ran my own dance nights back in the 90s along with my own under 18 nights.  As successful as they were I thought it’s about time to move on and start working for one of the biggest company’s in Scotland JBD services where I have had residencies and guest spots in many in pubs and clubs for example ….Desire, Tunnel, Faith, Archaos, Strata, Monkey Bar, One Up, Singers, The Basement, Espionage and many more.  On top of that I also ran my own show on a local radio station called Your Radio FM every Saturday night where I produced and presented a Club Classics show from 6pm until 9pm – playing music from the 90s old-school right up to the current dance tracks.  Producing my own show gave me the change to speak to many guests i.e. Guru Josh, Paul Masterson, Ian Bland, Jon Campbell, plus James Allan from Public Domain to name a few…..along with this I also arranged for local djs to come along and do a hour mix live in the studio.  These slots ranged from house, electro house, trance, and old-school.  As well as Your Radio I also started a weekly show in with an American radio station based in New York - Sobel Nation Radio – this show played all the latest house music,
Over the years I have played in many clubs with big artists and djs and done some big events so I can kind of say I’ve done most of the things I wanted to do since starting all those years ago! DJ Jamie B real name James Brown is a DJ and music producer from Belfast Northern Ireland, he started his music career aged 18 playing in local clubs around the Belfast area, he began producing music 10 years ago with another two local producers Nova Scotia and Micky Modelle, they were then making songs under the name Ghetto Busterz, they released remixed tracks such as Rhianna, Ne-Yo, the Guru Josh Project and remixes for clubland.
In 2015 Jamie was approached by a local Belfast radio station Blast 106 to have his own show named Dreamteam 90’s Dance show this proved to be very successful for him and lead him to then start his own Facebook live show Jamie B old skool anthems for all his followers.
He started doing this when he was out playing in clubs from his phone and as his followers increased he then started streaming from his studio on a Monday evening, by this stage he was getting 20k views per stream and this then lead to him in 2016 working in clubs over in Scotland , he then started producing his own music with Nova Scotia for this show such as Don’t stop the sweet lovin and Million faces which both have over 4 million views on youtube.
Since then Jamie B and nova scotia have been non stop producing and remixing new and old music giving them that old skool sound that has proven so popular that their songs are regularly played on George Bowie’s GBX anthems show on Clyde One, this then led to Jamie being asked over to play in Ibiza with GBX and also playing at 2018’s Stereofunk  and Colourfest festivals in Scotland, and also some big clubs and festivals in Northern Ireland.
