Gareth Salmon is a music composer for Film, TV, Games and Performance Art.

Since early childhood he learnt to play the piano and the cello, performing in several Chamber Orchestras and shows. Gareth studied Music and Music Production, developing his interest in both Orchestral music and the Dance music scene. An enthusiasm for both these areas has led to a wider understanding and more open minded approach to his music production.

Gareth has been lucky enough to enjoy some commercial success in the dance music scene with numerous releases from 2006 to present under various names, leading to performances at Festivals all over Europe including Glastonbury, Glade, Electric Picnic etc, and had music aired on radio stations such as BBC Radio 1 and Kiss FM.

Aside from the dance music scene Gareth has been focusing on his work as a composer, currently working on his portfolio of orchestral works and experimenting with hybrid mixes of orchestral and dance music. He is also a regular composer for Twisted Jukebox, and manages a schedule of commission based work. His work has been used by numerous broadcasters including Sky, ITV, BBC and Channel 4. The end of 2013 saw one of his tracks being used on the Amazing Spiderman 2 film trailer. Corporate clients include Unite, The Conservative Party and many more.

Gareth is involved in writing for Contemporary Performance Art. He has co-composed the musical score for the Arcadia Spectacular Show since 2010, these shows have been toured at music festivals since summer 2010, including being performed to tens of thousands of people at the Glastonbury Festival.
