Schlepp Geist Live @ Fusion Festival 2013 (Tanzwiese)

Mit dem Künstler, dem wir die aktuelle Ausgabe unseres Podcasts zu verdanken haben, verbinden wir eine besonders sympathische Begebenheit.
Zu Ostern war eines unserer Team-Mitglieder nach Rostock gereist um dort im Zwischenbau mit einigen – zu dem Zeitpunkt noch – ausschließlich Soundcloud-Bekanntschaften eine nette Party zu verleben.
Während einer kurzen Feierpause auf einer der Stufen zur Bühne hoch, setzte sich ein junger Mann daneben und begann eine nette Unterhaltung, da er den „Frueher“-Aufkleber auf dem T-Shirt wiedererkannt hatte. 
So entwickelte sich ein längeres und tolles Gespräch und irgendwann, sehr viel später, stellte sich der nette junge Mann vor und ließ unserem Team-Mitglied den Mund offen stehen. So lernten wir http://soundcloud.com/schleppgeist persönlich kennen. 

Und so herrlich unaufdringlich und sympathisch er auch als Person daher kommt, so kraftvoll und energetisch lässt er als Künstler im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes gleichzeitig die Puppen und noch viel besser das Publikum tanzen. Egal ob als DJ oder als Live-Act, ein Set von Schlepp Geist bedeutet immer einen ganz eigenen Sound und pure Energie zu erleben. Davon durfte sich auch das Fusion-Publikum überzeugen; das Set wurde glücklicherweise aufgenommen und wurde sogar von Flux.FM ausgestrahlt.

Es ist ein Wunder, dass wir überhaupt in den Genuss einer Podcast-Ausgabe kommen, denn abgesehen davon, dass Schlepp Geist von Polen über ganz Deutschland bis in die Schweiz fast jedes Wochenende ausgebucht ist, scheint er auch noch in jeder freien Minute zu produzieren und Künstler wie The Sorry Entertainers oder Pazul freuen sich über Remixe von ihm. Seine eigenen Produktionen werden auch mit höchsten Ehren ausgezeichnet, wenn zum Beispiel Nico Stojan sich für einen Remix anmeldet.

Aber genug der Lobhudelei. Wir halten uns an den guten, alten Goethe und lassen den Worten nun endlich Taten folgen, oder besser gesagt ein Set. Eines, dass es definitiv in sich hat und wohltuend vom Soundcloud-Mainstream abhebt. Aber das erkennt der Kenner ja schon anhand der

Saturday night at the Fusion Festival, Stimming has just played a dark & stormy set. The Bachstelzen floor is something like a looney zoo and i am at the centre dressed in my jail break outfit in control for the next 2 hours.

Massive thanks to all the crew at Bachstelzen for such a wonderful production and to the fantastic crowd for screaming, shouting and all the wild dance moves. The vibe of the set was one to be remember.

Due to our good friends from Firespace, we had the great opportunity to contribute a little bit of our music to the infamous Fusion Festival - in our opinion, one of the most beautiful festivals in the world regarding electronic music.
Despite we had - like the year before - a little bit of rain during our floor times, it was one of the most intense experiences we made, since our start as a team in 2007.

The journey was opened from 5am to 7am by our most famous member Martin Anacker, who played a really groovy "vinyl only" set connecting the good old times with brand-new vibes. Have a closer look to his sound, if you like his set over here. And don't forget to like, if he convinces you, like he always convinces us.

Baba Sikander, the newest member of our little music brotherhood, took the next step in our journey and guided us through mysterious woods. After a rain induced pause, Niemand & Keiner slowed down the pace a lot. Between 110 and 113 BPM their travel from dark to light was devoted to the dancers and chillers, who needed a little bit of rest from the hammering Tanzwüste and the other, harder floors. Accompanied by the beautiful sun, they emptied their treasure box 5 hours in a row (17°° to 22°°). Here are the first two hours of their journey. Their new studio mix was uploaded just a month ago, so have a look at their soundcloud, if you like, what you heard - but careful: It´s faster - 118 BPM and running!
