"july." is a song i wrote back in march, 2022. i opened fl that day, and i didn't have a clear idea whatsoever of what kind of song i wanted to make. i just let go of myself that day, and i allowed my emotions to puppet my fingers, letting them dance and sway on the piano keys. after some time and improvisation, the piano sang to me a comforting, soothing riff that transported me back to my summer days as a kid, reminding me of moments i've spent with my family and friends. moments that i wouldn't trade for the world for how priceless all of them are.

"july." is a celebration of the moments we've all made and shared with those that we love, and it's meant to encourage appreciating the now and spending it doing what we love with the people we surround ourselves with.

because at the end of it all, this will all be nostalgic eventually...
