Stuart’s musical journey began in a picturesque Devon village in the Teign Valley, nestled on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. As a child, he soaked up the magic of the moors and the whispers of the wind—a foundation that would later infuse his music with a sense of wonder.
Sand, the Exeter band Stuart founded, burst onto the scene with their first gig supporting Liverpool’s Cecil. But that was just the beginning! Sand also shared the stage with none other than Muse at Exeter’s iconic Cavern Club. 
Later, Stuart lent his guitar skills to the band Savalis. Stuart now shines as a solo performer, crafting heartfelt melodies that resonate with listeners’ souls.
His influences? A rich tapestry of sounds: from the The La’s to the haunting allure of Portishead, the anthemic energy of Oasis, and the soul-stirring tunes of Nick Drake and Judee Sill.
