Gin Shaker Yodex is a poptronic mexican project.It started in 2002. Vintage synths,and delayed textures crash onto basic cheesie guitars. square dislexic rhytyms over micro sparkling percutions takes the wheel on this rusty pirate boat. Juan Carlos Matus as been working as a musical selector under the Yodex alias since 1997 starting as former mexican electrofunk band "dapuntobeat".He..s been part of Spanish Nerd Sound System crew and former Atlético Sound System art club. He founded Sound Sister Records with his midi rocker band mates Casio Commanders. Now he spins the decks whenever he gets invited promoting the "Llanerismo Diyeril" style, ruff cut on the turntables, twelve years of non maching beats, non blending bars and defenetly just throwing offbeat tunes. Music Selection over Chirurgic boring virtuosism. He..s part of the Groovetroters team with whom he produces the Soulimbo radio show. A black roots music driven program that can be heard every Tuesday from 10 pm to 12 am ( ct ) on radioglobal.org 
  
  
  Gin Shaker Yodex es un proyecto mexicano de poptrónica que comenzó en el 2002. Sintetizadores Viejos , y texturas con delays que chocan con básicas ataques de guitarra. Ritmos dislexicos sobre micro percusiones chispeantes llevan el timón de este oxidado barco pirata. Juan Carlos Matus se ha presentado como selector musical bajo el alias de Yodex desde 1997, comenzando como miembro creador de la banda mexicana de electro funk Dapuntobeat. En España formo parte del equipo de Selectores Musicales Nerd Sound System y participo activamente representando al Atletico Sound System Art Club. Miembro del grupo de midi rock Casio Commanders con quienes fundo el sello discográfico Sound Sister Records. Ahora suele poner música cada vez que le invitan, promueve el llanerísmo diyeril, estilo de corte rudo en las tornamesas, los galopantes ritmos que chocan y nunca se funden en el académico arte de mezclar música, lo suyo es el el simple lanzamiento de un tema después que ha terminado el anterior. Definitivamente la música sobre la cirugía al servicio del compás. Actualmente forma parte del equipo de selectores Groovetrotters con quienes produce y realiza Soulimbo, un programa enfocado a la difusión de la música de raíz negra que se transmite todos los Martes de 10pm a 12 am ( ct ) a travéz de radioglobal.org
