1. Uli Teichmann: "Live Improvisation, Jazzweekend Regensburg" . 1999
Brothers Andi and Hannes Teichmann were exposed to music right from birth by their father, jazz saxophonist Uli Teichmann.

2. Totalschaden: "Datengesichert" . 1989
Back in the day. Andi and Hannes formed their punk band "Totalschaden" in 1989 when they were just 9 and 13 years old: Andi played guitar, Hannes was on the mic, with brothers Cornelius Kellner on bass and Tobias Kellner on Drums.

3. Totalschaden: "Burning" . 1994
In the latter years both Totalschaden’s line up and music had changed. By 1994 the brothers were playing together with Michael Stein, Lucas Kuchler and Martin Haygis. Oh, and Hanne’s voice had dropped in the meantime!

4. Ultra Orange: "Day Six" . 1996
After Totalschaden Andi picked up the drums and founded the band "Ultra Orange" (1993 - 1997) together with Claudia Milic and Matthias Lichtenegger. Their sound was more wave then punk. With Ultra Orange Andi released his first two records "Ride" and "Split" on the small underground label "Extune Records".

5. ha.te.li.b: "Turned" . 1996
Meanwhile Hannes had been bitten by the electronic music bug and had begun to dj. Under the artist name "ha.te.li.b" (1993 - today) Hannes and his friend Linus Brand produced their first techno tracks and released their debut-ep, "Plattform" on Tom Clark’s label "Gold Plate Music". Later they were to change their name to "ha.te & The Bad Financer" and have since released several tracks on the brothers’ own label "Festplatten".

6. BeigeGT: "Knights Of The Jaguar" . 2001

7. BeigeGT: "Heat" . 2004
One year later the brothers joined forces again and formed BeigeGT (1997 - today) with Klaus Kiesswetter (bass), Martin Haygis (vocals, guitar) and Wolfgang Reutter (guitar). This time Hannes was behind the moog and Andi on the drums. They signed to "L’Age D’Or" in 2001 and released several albums and eps. In 2005 the second guitar player Wolfgang Reutter left the band.

8. Gebr. Teichmann: "Barzer" . 2000
In 1998 Andi turned also to electronic music and started to dj. They begun to spin as a team and also produce electronic dance tracks together. They released their debut single as "ha.te & Andi Orange" after which they became "Gebrüder Teichmann" on Kompakt Records (1998 - today). It was not long before this became the brothers’ main project.

In 2001 they met the composer and zither player Leopold Hurt. Almost immediately they began to collaborate, creating together a beautiful project, simply named "Teichmann Hurt" (2001 - today). Using the unusual combination of zither and electronics they create together a unique deep kind of live electronica.

11. Hannes Teichmann: "Jäger" . 2001 
Also in 2001 Hannes released his first solo-ep. As a solo artist, Hannes’ sound is dry, funky and invariably a little dirty.

12. Andi Teichmann: "Myschkin" . 2005
One year later, in 2002 Andi followed suit with his first solo album, on Festplatten. Andi’s solo work is often more rock-influenced and melancholic.

Together with Leopold Hurt and the male classical vocalists Alois Späth, Klaus Wenk, Franz Vitzthum and Gerhard Hölzle Andi and Hannes began the live project "DJ Machaut" (2005 – today), which is based on the revolutionary motets of Guillaume de Machaut (?-1377). Originally, the idea was to contrast electronic reinterpretations of Machauts mediaeval works with the classical versions, to show how similar his early composing-techniques were to the way in which electronic music is produced today. But the partnership progressed quickly and soon "DJ Machaut" were also working on their own material, in which the classical singers actively interact with the electronic part.

Since Andi Teichmann and Hans Forster’s collaboration on Andi’s solo album "Fades" was so successful, the pair were encouraged to found their own rock project, which they have named "The Happy End" (2006 - today).

For the past two years, we have been playing almost every production by Matthew Dekay & Lee Burridge. Now we're very happy to welcome both of them on Innervisions IV38. "Lost In A Moment" is a track that has given us goosebumps when playing it out in the clubs. A Dixon Mix on the flipside takes a different approach and shows that the summer season is just around the corner.

Biography
"I decided that this album would be a new beginning for Imperative Reaction,” says Ted Phelps of the band’s upcoming self-titled release. Showcasing an evolved sound that combines the band’s explosive live show with the precise, electronic anthems Imperative Reaction has built its name on; Imperative Reaction is both as much a summation as it is a huge step forward for a band never content to rest
on past successes. In Phelps' words: “It is our defining album.”

The change is immediately clear on the forthcoming single, Surface. Grinding, synthesizers merge with a pummeling dance beat that gives way to a huge chorus comprised of a wall of guitar and larger-than-life gang vocals. “Side Effect” opens Imperative Reaction with a groove that builds into an all out dance floor assault. “Song Of The Martyr” and “Time Doesn’t Care” marry crushing electronics with rock guitars and IR's signature vocal hooks, while “Siphon”, with it’s dance beat and sing-song chorus, proves that the band can update its sound without losing its club roots. From the cold beauty of “Torture” to the unbridled anger of “Closure”, melody and aggression interlock and combust throughout Imperative Reaction to form a career defining album.

Ted Phelps founded Imperative Reaction with David Andrecht in 1996. After gaining momentum in the Los Angeles Industrial scene, in 1999, the band released their first album entitled, Eulogy For The Sick Child. The debut was met with critical praise and a growing fan base. Songs like “Scorpio” and “The Longing” quickly found their way onto DJ playlists world-wide.

2002 saw the departure of Andrecht and the release of the sophomore album Ruined. The aggressive album led Phelps to recruit Sam P. and Jason DM of Los Angeles based Pulse Legion to complete the live line-up. Shortly thereafter, the growing band completed its first North American tour.

In 2004 Imperative Reaction unleashed Redemption. This album combined the rock feel of Ruined with a more club friendly sound which helped propel the first single “Giving In To The Change” to become a dance floor staple. Jason DM was replaced on keys by Clint Carney (System Syn, God Module) and the band set out on its second North American tour. The Redemption tour led to an invitation to join VNV Nation as direct support for their 2005 Formation Tour. Over the course of 36 shows Imperative Reaction transformed itself into a celebrated live act in front of over 25,000 fans.

As We Fall , released in 2006, was met with universal acclaim. Imperative Reaction joined EBM legends Covenant on their successful Skyshaper US tour. Shortly thereafter, IR was asked to join VNV Nation on their European Judgment Tour. Upon returning to the US, the band was picked to open for Combichrist on their 2007 North American tour. Further solidifying themselves as one of the premier electronic live acts, IR returned home to Los Angeles just in time to head out with psychobilly giants, Tiger Army on their US Razor’s Kiss Tour. The desire to expand and strengthen the live show led Phelps to hire Trevor Friedrich (Combichrist, Eighteen Visions, Suffer Well) to drum for the band.

In 2008, Imperative Reaction released Minus All and embarked on its most ambitious headlining tour to date. Shortly after the completion of the tour the band added guitarist/keyboardist Adam Vex (Seraphim Shock) and the live chemistry was solidified once and for all.

In 2009, the band took time off from writing to hit the road with fellow Metropolis Records artist, Psyclon Nine. The co-headlining tour, named "The Ruina Tour", saw the bands playing to capacity crowds across the US.

2010 was spent holed up in the studio creating the band’s most ambitious album to date. Imperative Reaction is an electronic rock masterpiece that showcases a band in its prime; ready to blow any preconceived notions out of the water. There is no escape.

LUDOVICO TECHNIQUE

The name:
stems from the drug-assisted aversion therapy found in
the novel and film "A Clockwork Orange", in which the patient is
forced to view violent imagery while injected with experimental
medication in an attempt to condition the subjects behavior.

The sound:
harsh industrial music highlighting the dark aspects of the
human experience as well as the depths to which mans mind can
deteriorate.

Founded by Eric Gottesman (See Colin Slash, Psyclon Nine, Deathline Int'l, and occasionally Ayria, Caustic, and practically every other industrial band with the misfortune to pass through the bay area) as a follow-up to See Colin Slash, the cult-classic '80s culture-inspired band he fronted from 1998 until 2003.

Everything Goes Cold revisits the sounds and ideas of classic '90s American Coldwave and infuses it with a modern context and sense of humor. And a big, angry refrigerator robot.

Everything Goes Cold will freeze you to death and tear your face off. Maybe they already have. We’re fairly certain you had more face before, and you should probably put on a coat.

Fronted by Eric Gottesman, one of Industrial Music’s most obnoxiously omnipresent proliferators, EGC forcibly and indignantly amalgamates influences from the full spectrum of classic American guitar-based Industrial Music with a modern sensibility and foul attitude that makes the lead singer of your favorite Terror EBM band look and smell like your great-grandfather after a long day in the sun.

Conceived in the years following the unruly 2003 demise of See Colin Slash, Gottesman’s ill-defined and ill-advised cult-classic perpetual opening band, Everything Goes Cold has already used up every bit of the smoldering, ashen remains of good will he built up while traipsing through every electronic band ever to attract a teenager with a cephalopod tied to their head, from Psyclon Nine to Ayria.

Finally ready to glaciate an unwilling and disinterested world with a cabal of astringent songs and robotic applicances, Everything Goes Cold is proud to join forces with Bit Riot Records, who, in turn, are ashamed to have agreed to such an arrangement.

Creepy Finger's 23rd release sees Damolh33 and The Badgers team up again for the superb "Cabin Fever" EP.

The second part of the collaboration features two big productions. Massive synths and huge grooves from "Cabin Fever" drawing inspiration from the film, and the dark and spooky "The End Is Near" with it's trippy horror show atmosphere.

The already powerful originals are supported by an onslaught of remixes from Terry Whyte and Miro Pajic. Both artists take their distinctive sound and apply it in a variety of ways. Miro's two Cabin Fever remixes show the diversity of his talent, taking the track down two separate routes. While Terry Whyte adds some chilling vocals in his shoulder swinging Cabin Fever remix, and opts for the darker path on his remix of The End Is Near.

CFR026 : Nino Blink - The Joy Of Hex (Miro Pajic Remix)

It was a nice remix to work on, with some great field recordings, a lovely simple piano riff, and some looped vocal samples which all slotted nicely into the new structure I wanted to go with - something a bit more club compatible than the original, but still hopefully carrying the feeling.

I messed around with the field recordings in the Monolake Granulator a bit, to get some subtle glitch/randomness in there, but other than that I went pretty straight on the arrangement, just gradually introducing the layers and adding a new synth to punctuate the peak, and a new bassline and chord variation.

The idea with the field recording/glitched intro section was to try and make something non-melodic and a bit harsh and cold, in attempted polar contrast to the warmth of the main melodic section and enveloping bass ie I wanted try and make the bleak part emphasise and accentuate the nice part.

So, anyway, here it is, as a free download for all.
