I’m proud to present this eclectic collection of tunes from legends and new names alike in the modern dubstep movement. My vision for HVA started that way, to join artists who have persevered with those who are just starting out. I did this not only to help those trying to make a name for themselves, but because there are many new artists who deserve such an outlet. It can be extremely hard starting a new project, and I hope listeners can be motivated to find and support new and upcoming artists as a result of this compilation. 

Dubstep is evolving, and I chose some of these tunes to showcase a newer style emerging. Some of them keep the roots of dubstep alive, as I feel that’s an important aspect to acknowledge and respect, and some are just straight bangers. All have a special place on this label, and all deserve a listen. Big up to everyone supporting the label, please support the artists in any way you can. Earlier this year Desert Dwellers released their most diverse album in the duo's long career. The Great Mystery was the first full length collaborative project just between the main founders Amani Friend and Treavor Moontribe, and featured a wide range of styles and aesthetics from downtempo and psychedelic dub to tribal trance to exotic house and techno flavors.

To celebrate the special release, Desert Dwellers have curated an ambitious two-part remix album with a total of 25 contributions from some of the brightest luminaries and rising talents across the underground electronic music landscape. With artists from across the globe and musical genres, these carefully crafting renditions of Desert Dwellers' The Great Mystery are a potent combination of immersive soundscapes that pay a loving tribute to the original compositions.

CreighFish is a bass music artist hailing from Mobile, AL. He mostly focuses on creating neuro infused tracks that lay in the 85-90 bpm range. Overtime, he has increasingly experimented with making 140-150bpm dubstep and hybrid trap tunes. His biggest influences became Black Carl!, Omnist & VCTRE when they started putting out their early projects. CreighFish was already an increasingly avid fan of EDM at this point, but when he heard the aforementioned producers particular blend of bass music he knew that he wanted to try and make it :)
