“Shanghai” is the first song from my upcoming EP which Silent Child and I made together, and it’s a doorway into a new beginning for me. Rodney and I created a sonic landscape like something I’ve dreamed about for so long.

To me, these songs are like painted poems, saturated with the emotion of who I am at my core. We made something very special, I think and I couldn’t be more proud of it.

“Shanghai” began with a story about a doomed secret love affair, starting with a chance meeting on a plane trip to Shanghai. Looking for a way out of normalcy and loneliness, I ask “was what we did a crime”, Rodney and the song seem to answer with their forlorn melody.

Raised in New York City, CRÈME began penning tunes at a young age. Largely self taught, she grew up singing in bands, playing piano and guitar and shortly thereafter, she fell in love with making electronic music. Her goal has been to bring a unique and different approach into a world that seems to reward sameness. 

Since 2018 CRÈME has consistently released singles and collabs spanning a multi genre pallet. She released a number of covers, highlighting her vocals and production. Currently her focus has turned to making originals, often collaborating with a crew of international producers who she continues to be impressed by and is grateful to be able to work with.

Georgia-born musician Silent Child grew up with an unconventional childhood; his ADHD and Aspergers made social situations tough. Now, he expresses himself through another medium: music.
