With releases on labels such as Norite, Sungate and On Board Music, and with several more lined up on reputable techno labels, London-based Einerlei continues to hone his brain-bending, intricate sound. Fusing subtlety with a certain directness, he repeatedly - across a range of styles and influences - manages to capture and amplify unexpected atmospheric elements in his compositions.

 His contribution to the Crescent Free Download Series is a deep, speedy, trance-infused track for the sophisticated floor, with detailed harmonic themes and intricate high-frequency textures augmenting its eminently danceable groove. 

The rest, as always, he leaves open to the listener’s interpretation.

DJing since 1999, she has in fact been deeply beholden to music in all its forms since she was a young child, when she first uncovered its unique ability to create and intensify emotional experiences, to express, and to effortlessly give rise to a mental and physical space of peace and tranquillity.

Press Release: Neotex is the collaborative project of DTE and EZIO two DJ's based in Sydney/Eora, Australia. Last year they hit the ground running with their first release, Perspective Shift, which attracted international support, including Vincent Neumann at techno mecca Berghain, Rotterdam’s Mattheis and the legendary XDB.

Jeroen van der Want also known as RON L, is a Dutch DJ based in Gouda, The Netherlands and a resident of the Rotterdam-based organization Embodiment. 

After years of actively experiencing the Dutch techno scene, Jeroen was becoming more and more drawn to that world by the long-lasting feelings of fulfilment and belonging that he experienced after every event. His love and passion for music made him take the next steps into starting his journey as a DJ.

Inspired by artists like Speedy J, Oscar Mulero, Function, and labels like Dynamic Reflection, Pole Group and Illegal Alien Records, RON L has crafted a powerful blend of driving, loopy and hypnotic sounds, which is often best experienced during the peak time of the night. Nowadays, Jeroen is using the Pioneer DDJ-1000 controller, where he has the chance to work with 3 or 4 decks and express himself even better through complex intense atmospheres.

So far Jeroen had the chance to play for the Amsterdam-based Orphic crew, Frameworks in his hometown Gouda and Embodiment in Rotterdam alongside Rene Wise and Somewhen. 

To Jeroen, being a resident of Embodiment means that he is in a trust-worthy environment, where mutual respect is a ground rule, and he feels supported to grow musically and push his limits, which in turn will allow him to give back to the community by sharing his knowledge. In the future, he hopes to get the chance to perform more all around the Netherlands, but also internationally.

New French imprint Bait is a label focused on the cross over of two spheres: snare heavy bass-music and immersive mental techno. The outcome is technoïd-dubstep that is minimal, contemplative and at the same time calls for gun fingers and backspins. Label boss Beatrice M. likes to call the genre “dubtek”. This particular release, focused on the more prog and trance-inducing side of the coin, includes "Forma", the creation of Paris-based Angoulême-born talent Trois-Quarts Taxi System. Born near Manchester, and for many years London based, Jamie de Rooy has played events as far-flung as Reykjavik, Iceland, equatorial Brazil and Tbilisi, Georgia.

In 2012, in London, he began the weekly afterhours event series Wrong, always focusing as a promoter on giving a platform to new talent. The London Evening Standard said of Wrong, "If you want to dance and you want to dance for a very long time, Vauxhall's Union is the place to go. It's renowned for its mammoth opening hours, which sees parties stretching from the dead of night well into the following morning. Techno fiends should head down on Friday night to catch one of the Wrong! marathons, where they'll find a diverse, welcoming crowd grooving to underground techno well into Saturday lunchtime.”

Alongside Wrong, where he is on the decks most Friday nights, he also maintains a residency London’s La Divina Afterhours and has performed at numerous other events including the infamous Trade.

Jamie’s musical style ranges from heartbreaking, transcendent, ambient infused opening sets, through deep, into dark, hypnotic and strident raw techno. Always uncompromising, he steers well clear of gimmicks, allowing the music to speak for itself through careful track selection and intelligent transitions, both of which are designed to surprise, whilst building a set that works as a whole.

John Plaza is a Chilean artist based in Barcelona, owner of Linderluft Records. His sound is characterized by minimalist percussions, continuous atmospheres, breakbeat rhythms and a search for mental travel and movement. Record number 3 from Unveiled Nuance brings a new confidence in the further developed sound of owner Means&3rd. A continued eye for detail as well as a roughness that breathes dark soul into the production aesthetic that we have yet to hear from the artist.

“Hardship Repackaged As Growth” Opens the EP with boomy, rugged low end and grainy driven synth lines with sharp hits of wide sonic impact and a depth of layered atmosphere, placed on a bed of dense percussion until its break point exposes contorted, abrasive stabs just surviving the crunch of their processing, that then take the forefront. “Countenance” replies to the previous track with a more calculated, rounder and organic palette of audio that focuses on a cadenced synth line that breaths with the arrangement, fizzing to break point and engaging the deeper listen. Swung percussion keeps the groove providing a propulsive backing that sits on ganrled bass hits before the focus returns on the charged lead line.


“Character Ethic” carries deep suspense from the off, with filtered menace being teased below the surface, warping atmospheres are stacked and build the apprehension against a militant 16th shaker before an almost vocal like modulated synth reveals itself and is left to dance prominently across the stereo field. Layers of energy providing percussion complete the picture for a mesmerising trip. “Desperate And Relevant” the most driving of the 4 cuts takes an effectively reduced stand where square wave accents build new levels of intensity. Propulsive low-end and cohesive percussion writhe through the track’s arrangement closing out the EP with a powerful ending, a blistering siren sees the track’s breakpoint provide a release worthy of the pressure built.
