Vardae is a project with the ambition of breaking away from the genre barrier, to explore new sounds territory around the love of psychedelic music. 

Vardae reveals a truly auditory adventure with Mind Spectrum, the sixth release on our label. His EP includes four tracks, each with its own distinct energy and character. Opening with ‘Thoughts,‘ Vardae sets a calm and profound tone, showcasing his exceptional minimalistic sound design. ‘Body Entrance‘ the second track, promises an intense experience with its otherworldly textures that crawl under the skin. ‘Loose It,‘ the third track, is an instant classic inspired by the free party vibe, destined to ignite dance floors. The EP ends with a flourish as ‘Feel the Grass‘ a fast paced, very deep, and mystical track, serves as the perfect finale. 

In its entirety, Mind Spectrum‘ escalates in tempo, providing a climactic journey and encapsulating the story of an entire night.

Jorge Fons is an artist originally from Madrid, Spain, and currently based in Utrecht, Netherlands. For the past decade, Feph has been steadily focusing on sound design and modular synthesis to create her own appeal to electronic music.

The most recent years have also been dedicated to the growth of two record labels, Zosimos and Alchemista Records. Both are showcasing a spotlight on international talent, while also maintaining a regular schedule of self-releases on both vinyl and digital imprints.

Her music has also gained international support, being released on labels succh as Palinoia, The Gods Planet, Subsist, Further Sessions, Analog Solutions, and Omnidisc, to name a few.

The current focus is on production and live performance, which has already been showcased in venues such as Miami's Club Space- The Ground, and iiiPoints Festival.

Feph continues to create with an experimental approach in mind, paving her unique way in a wide-ranging wordl of electronic music.

PRL_S09 marks the final installment of the series, compiling unreleased sessions from the 2024 production cycle.

All tracks were produced using a modular synthesizer system, supplemented by a curated set of analog synths. 

The release consists of five rhythmically focused, stripped down compositions, engineered for peak-time club performance and optimized for sound system impact. Concluded with the seventh track, a beatless, one-take composition characterized by a multitude of frequency beatings and interference patterns.

Aerae’s music exists at the intersection of rhythm, texture and instinct, shaped by a trippy and organic approach to electronic sound. Based in France, her productions move fluidly between deep, bassy and tribal expression, always guided by a strong sense of texture and flow. This aesthetic fully unfolds on her new EP "Terrā" here she blends her influences into an organic and immersive narrative. The opening track “Olabi” sets the tone with a gentle yet hypnotic pull, moving like a pendulum through natural space. Animal-like sounds and earthy textures give the track a vivid, almost living quality. “Aether” intensifies the journey with a driving drone and pronounced tribal energy, creating a swirling, forward-moving force. On “Lenis”, forest-like atmospheres, bird-inspired sound design and a broken, dubby beat come together in a dreamy, psychedelic way. The track feels grounded yet floating, introspective and playful. The EP culminates in the title track “Terrā”, unfolding as a ritualistic centerpiece driven by percussive layers and a swaying, earthbound rhythm.

About Aerae

Hailing from France, Aerae is an artist whose music blends techno, downtempo and drum & bass, drawing inspiration from the organic unpredictability of the natural world. Guided by intuition, she emerges evolving textures with ritualistic grooves in her sound.

Her debut album, Percussive Reverie (Annulled Music), explores broken rhythms and dub atmospheres, her track Conscientiae (Stagno Records) delves into elemental downtempo. Her first EP Nefanda (Samurai Music) ventures further into experimental drum & bass, marked by shadowy, immersive sound design.

MIST moves in slow, shifting patterns. Across 7 tracks, producers from Belgium, Ukraine, Italy, Spain and France trace subtle changes in energy and form, echoing Geosmine, where rain meets earth and something invisible becomes perceptible.

From suspended mist to sudden downpour, from surface textures to deeper, subterranean resonance. Each piece approaches the theme obliquely, translating an elemental force into something felt rather than described.

Sounds drift and dissolve. Rhythms tighten and release. Textures move between density and space. Unsettled, then still, the compilation settles into that in-between zone, like the calm at the centre of a storm.
