Tunisian based BENKHLIFA opens up the EP with a sturdy and fast paced affair before UK duo Mist Gasp delve deep with their signature hypnotics. Legendary German producer Oliver Deutschamnn makes a welcome return to Soma after many years with the funked up Sonntags im Studio before Berlin based End Train delivers the stripped and moody Capacity as the EP ends with Orion’s jacked up and hypnotic Hollow Cause.

Eva Bohnen started producing electronic music and DJing in 2021. Her kind of techno is raw, sharp and intense: a legacy of the dissonant tones she endured learning to play the classical violin as a child combined with the alternative punk rock and rave (gabber) influences of the 90s later on. Hence also the old school techno vibe you will recognize. 

Very dedicated to her journey in music, Eva spends a lot of time on sound searching and learning synthesis in depth. For her, this equates to soul searching. And making music, tracks or DJ mixes, is an intense introspective journey. She does not create for the masses, but to express herself in the hope that others will recognize these universal emotions. 

Guided by the drums in her DJ sets she takes you, philosophically speaking, to the depths of your soul and lifts you up to feel enlightened afterwards.
