He's interested in communicating feelings to his audience in a way that goes beyond perceptual bias such as musical preconceptions and cultural straitjacket.

After 6 years in San Francisco where he co-founded the music and art collective Demure Circle (@demurecircle) and played at clubs like Public Works, he's now located mainly in Lisbon.

It’s August 2021 and this time the podcast series is back with yet another rising artist from South-America. The Argentinian Vanoni, who now resides in Buenos Aires, serves up a truly smashing mix for us. 

Originally from Patagonia, Vanoni was able to kickstart his passion for music production and DJ-ing in full devotion from the year 2018 onwards. His productions are mostly affected by hypnotic and abstract sounds, usually induced by sonically rich harmonies and an extraordinary sense of cosmic drama. It’s fair to say that Vanoni’s latest recordings and releases, characterized by enveloping textures, tribalistic sounds and reverberating pads, deserve to be put right in the spotlight. 

Impressively, Vanoni managed to release his work on labels like Danza Nativa, Ritualism, From A Lost Place, and N F E R E E to name a few. Besides, he has put together various other first-class podcasts for labels such as The Memoir. With the recording you’re about to listen, he clearly follows up on this quality. Sit tight for a pleasant and energetic pace, driven by repetition and hypnotic pads that seem to bend space and time. Enjoy.

@mindarchives is Diego, an explorer of deep and psychedelic techno rich in minimalist atmospheres, also known for bringing people and music together at his Aroma Cósmico events from Galicia to Portugal.
He is currently one of the resident DJs at Gare Porto and the curator of the recently created Label @frequencia-introspectiva.

There are several ways in which nostalgia and emotion can be connected to the present. For example, people often use nostalgia to cope with complicated feelings or situations in the present. By reminiscing about happy times in the past, individuals can find comfort and solace in their memories and feel a sense of connection to the past.
Additionally, nostalgia can serve as a source of inspiration and motivation. By looking back on past experiences and the things that brought us joy or fulfilment, we can gain insights and ideas for creating meaningful experiences in the present.
Overall, nostalgia and emotion are closely connected, as nostalgia is often an emotional response to memories or reminders of the past. Bio/
Hailing from the Czech Republic and now based in Scotland, Marek Bartunek would end up around electronic music in his late twenties. From there, he would co-found Cellar Door Records and Liminal Spaces, venturing into sounds he found most interesting. Being crafted by the neverending presence of music in his family and the failed adventures to become good at any instrument, Marek has finally landed his interests within deep repetitive mind-bending music.
