Techno/Trance

Floppy sounds, little robots pondering over stuff, guitars, melodies, swooshes, background weirdness, a weird bridge, dramatically melodic conclusion, soft ending. Totally not minimal.

Technological experiment

dirty edit of late 90's stinky techno art my Win95 computer put through Steinberg BBox emulated sampling sequencer. That is below FLoops. 2011 edit in Audition Wave editor. 
Has jokes, too much bass and a synth sampled from the intro of Robert Miles' Children. 
i've also added an audience just in case.

This one also was made without sequencer or timed filters/effects, no DAW only clock timeline, no multi-track, just GoldWave, a calculator, 840 MP harddisk, on a 48 MB ram Pentium 100, turning [save as...] into a small religion. 
Copy, paste, copy all, mix-paste, measure, calculate, think, effect, paste, copy, think... :-) Learned much from this worknoflow, like that phaser / flanger are the signal mixed through itself yet slightly delayed and/or stretched. And patience, mostly patience I've learned form it.

2011 Appetite for distraction.

Assignment: create an uplifting yet ugly sounding, hallow dance track using a sample or two from Sweet Child of Mine by Guns 'n' Roses. 
Must contain technical swing, yet has to be completely without deep vibe or any kind of soul. Almost nailed it.

Started fooling around with digitally recorded waveforms as soon as I got me my first PC in 1996 (age 18, quite late). I was already playing guitar and bass for some years (punk/metal) but on the side got hooked on electronic music and wanted to make many ideas and brainfarts audible.
