The 9 piece Swanvesta Social Club are, apparently "The UKs number one Anglo Cuban band"  a title they have been given and love!  

They play one third original one third reinventions of Latin songs and one third reinventions of anglo/us pop songs.  They also love rum and a good party!

They have released one full length album "The Inauthentic Sound of Cuba"  (sold out on cd but still available online at
https://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/the-inauthentic-sound-of-cuba/id446780626). Music journalist Rob Hopcott described their performance as “monumental” and they play what they call "fiesta rock"  at festivals across the UK including recently The Leamington Peace Festival, The Exmoor Festival, Rhythms of the World and The Acoustic Festival of Britain.

The new album and accompanying DVD "Live from the Latin Quarter" was recorded in spring 2015 and will be released this summer!
