Born and raised in Valence, in the beautiful Drôme, Stepanov is a child of the nineties; brought up in front of the television watching clips from the MTV and MCM channels that his cousins watched over and over again.

This period gave him a taste for music, particularly electronic and club music!

It was much later, at the age of reason, that he developed a taste for breakbeat.

For CJA, he dives into the party classics UK style: oldschool breakbeat, happy hardcore and big beat.

Pascal Mental is a name we were keen to include as not only does he share the same passion for old school trance, it’s clear his experience and enthusiasm shines when selecting tracks to put together a set/podcast. We felt incredibly proud when we first listened to the mix, a true journey which reflects his commitment towards taking listeners on a psychedelic whirlwind whilst staying true to his original sound.
