When I wrote this song "Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy"(HHGTTG) was my favourite book, that was not difficult as the only other book I had read at that time was "Janet and John". HHGTTG is a great life changing story unlike "Janet and John", which nearly destroyed my life. 
If you have read the book you will understand the song and I would like to think that Douglas Adams would really like it. 
I am only pleased that the SC musicians that have recently contributed to it have been able to add to it.
Douglas if there is any possibility of anyone being out there it would be you…....this is for you!

In the late 1940’s in the Fulham\Hammersmith area there used to be a club that would raise money for people with disabilities. The club itself would have various activities which a large number involved live music. The name itself was created by the local people who used the club as there main place of entertainment. When my mother in law told me all about it the club and its name I was sold. It seemed to suit me and my brother for so many reasons.
