Every day, I wake up ready to conquer the world, despite the challenges that come with living with arthrogryposis. This condition may affect my joints, but it will never define my spirit or determine my destiny.

From an early age, I’ve learned to adapt, innovate, and find creative solutions to navigate a world not always designed with my needs in mind. Simple tasks may require extra effort, but with determination and perseverance, I’ve discovered that nothing is impossible.

Living with arthrogryposis has taught me resilience, patience, and the power of self-acceptance. It’s a journey filled with ups and downs, but through it all, I’ve grown stronger, more compassionate, and fiercely independent.

I’ve learned to embrace my uniqueness, seeing it not as a limitation, but as a source of strength and inspiration. My journey with arthrogryposis has shaped me into the person I am today – resilient, courageous, and unapologetically myself.

Based out of Whistler, BC (Canada), Miss KosmiK is on a mission to make the world a better place using the power of music. Her passion for diverse sounds – mixing heavy baselines with uplifting grooves – will get you moving with her funky beats in house, techno, breaks, drum & bass and more.

The KosmiK journey began in Quebec in 1996 when she organized the first rave in her hometown of Chicoutimi and has been rocking the frequency ever since. Kosmik's broad appeal is reflected in her keen song selection and intuitive mixing style, impacting the collective pulse of the crowd generating a formidable tidal wave of energy.  KosmiK leaves her fans awash with electric smiles.

Miss KosmiK has played at a wide-range of venues, ranging from Shambhala Music Festival, Envision, Electric Love Music Festival, MEME (Manitoba Electronic Music Exhibition) and Burning Man to a range of clubs.  She has opened for Stacey Pullen, Stickybuds, The Funk Hunters, Fort Knox Five, Featurecast, Ed Solo, Mat The Alien, Kenny Ken, Logistics, Black Sun Empire, Kytami and Neighbour just to name but a few.

A peak-time favourite at the Solartribe Full Moon parties (from 2009 until they stopped in 2012), a resident DJ of the Whistler Junglists, the holder of several club residencies: she is now hosting Level Up, a house & techno night at Moe Joe’s Nightclub.  Miss KosmiK has, and continues to be, a solid part of Whistler’s party scene.

Dubconscious has come to represent both the east and the western coast of Canada.  Born in Toronto and raised on the jungle / drum’n’bass sounds permeating the city in the late 90s & early 2000s, he developed a taste for hard beats drenched in reggae vibes. 2004 brought a big move across the country to the city of Victoria, which was nurturing a fledgling breaks and jungle scene – by the end of his first year of University, he had bought his first set of Technics and the seed was planted.  Bouncing back and forth between Toronto and Victoria for the next three years of school presented plenty of opportunities to play different music to new crowds, adding reggae & dancehall to his repertoire, as well dubstep – in its infancy at this point.  After school the move was made back east, joining up with the Dubslingers crew in Toronto, while they were holding down Canada’s longest running dubstep weekly - Dubslingers Wednesdays at Thymeless.

Having established a name for himself in Toronto’s competitive scene, he headed west once more, this time settling in Nelson, BC. After spending two productive years in the area immersing himself in both the great outdoors & the underground party scene, he's moved on further west to Vancouver, where he continues to DJ all across the board - dropping sets jam packed with a mash of many forms of urban & modern bass music at a wide selection of venues across the city, the province, and the country on a regular basis.

Appearing in nearly every major city in Canada, and sharing the stage with a wide and varied spectrum of headliners - from Beenie Man and Barrington Levy, to Andy C, Shy FX and Dillinja to The Roots, Mixmaster Mike and Blockhead, to Gramatik , Dub FX, Glitch Mob and Beats Antique, to Bicep and Kastle, to Salva, Clicks & Whistles and the Gaslamp Killer to Truth, Plastician and Rusko - he's proven his versatility many times over, across an array of arenas. He's also appeared at numerous music festivals including BC's Shambhala (5x), Bass Coast (2x), Diversity, Motion Notion, Loki and the BC Ska Fest, WEMF and Harvest Festival in Ontario, and the Dragon Festival in Granada, Spain.  He has been curating a Sunday night weekly at The Keefer Bar in Vancouver for over two years, and was also running an all-vinyl reggae & dancehall weekly, Wax Wednesdays at the Waldorf - the poster for which was featured in the music video for Major Lazer & Busy Signal's "Bumaye."

Funk Heavy G is exactly that, Fun Kevy G, residing in  Regina, SK, Canada. Throwin' down jams and listening/creating new sounds will forever be a passion. An old skool DJ using 2 turn tables and a microphone, Heavy G is one of  the funkiest DJ's the Queen City has to offer, including  genre's like break beats, house, glitch hop and DNB in his mixes. Heavy G has earned a great deal of respect locally  and has opened for legends  like the  Stanton Warriors, Deekline, Nick Thayer, JFB, Propatingz, Stylust Beats, Stickybuds, Timothy Wisdom, Skii Tour, Bryx , The Gaff, Mat the Alien, WBBL, Brace and Mr. Fudge  amongst many of the respected local talents. It was actually a mobile sauna that brought Vancouverite Darren Woodhead to the attention of many in Western Canada’s dance music scene. Beginning in 2001 these weekly sauna-slash-DJ parties in East Vancouver became a cultural hub for a group of Vancouver creatives. The ensuing Podcast and events brought the sound of sauna to the world while the outdoor shower and thumping beats captured the attention of the neighbours. 

Woodhead's sets get better every year and are guaranteed to bring the vibe he is famous for. Who else can DJ in a 100 degree wooden box or battling 90km winds on Canada's rugged west coast?
