01 Burden - Althea's Riot (Original Mix) 

SR002 is the second chapter of Burden' Self-release series. 

"Althea's Riot" was produced during summer 2020 after playing for the first time in Greece. 
Althea is a quiet beach located 30km south of Athens, surmounted by an abandoned hotel composed of a terraced concrete structure overlooking the sea. 
It was the most beautiful place to throw a rave and It was such an amazing experience being able to play my music there in the early hours of the morning. 

The loopy overwhelming bassline in opposition to the bright granular chords aim to recreate the atmosphere of that morning, the 4/4 pounding groove with a joyful vibe.

Brasilian Arthur Maccari debuts on Solid Tracks with a 4-track e.p., The Looming Crisis, featuring 3 original tracks and a remix from Berlin-based ogtrues.

Starting off with Inspection Chamber, Maccari's sound is centered around driving rhythms and rolling basslines with edgy synth stabs layered on top, setting the tone for the rest of the e.p. Next up, ogtrues ups the tempo and delivers a deeper and minimal rendition of Inspection Chamber. Moving to the title track, The Looming Crisis, which uses a captivating vocal hook over funkier tones, making it perfect dancefloor material. Ending with This is Not a Rehearsal, a track co-produced with Melbourne's Lumertz, both artists delve into a darker, hypnotic groove that will get heads turning.
