Light Weight

This is a recording of my last practice session before Blossom, with the tracks I seriously considered playing.  My actual set at Blossom was very similar to what is recorded here with some differences as I adjusted to the environment slightly.  Also this mix is an extra 40minutes longer (why not).
This mix starts quite deep and slowly builds up, there are some deep and dubby sounds in here which I thought would work really well for a 9 a.m. set.  It does get a little more tougher later.

Playing at Day One Villainous in Denver was an absolute highlight. The energy at this epic party was electric, and what made it even more special was sharing the stage with my closest friends from "Disco Lips." The synergy was palpable as we brought our unique styles together, creating a sonic journey that had the crowd in a euphoric trance. The venue's atmosphere was excited, and the crowd's enthusiasm was infectious.

I miss this time of year when we'd all gather, take off our shoes and dig our toes into the dirt
When we'd shake off the city for a few days and disconnect;
Reconnect with friends
And, then, connect with everyone
Time wasn't measured in minutes or hours, but magical moments of mayhem and mischief
The music wasn't in such a rush, none of us were.
This music speaks to that time - speaks to that energy
Over 2 hours of melodies and rhythms and bass lines that, when creating this set, transported me to that dusty dance floor of smiles. 
One of my favourite places on earth.

Into the old skool Melbourne scene we go, Sunny was a true Melbourne underground institution - I first went to their parties in 1998 and many more after, some truly treasured memories were created at these wonderful events.

Cristian started DJing mid-nineties and was an active member of the underground house scene in South London.
Often described as; deep and dirty, Cristian's sets range from tech-house to deep house.
A regular DJ around the UK at various nights including legendary parties such as Peg, Whoop Whoop, and Wiggle. With Paul Soul, Cristian ran Sizzle parties including guests such as Asad Rizvi, Jane Fitz,John Larner, Lawnchair Generals, Big Hair, Nathan Coles, Terry Francis & Harold Heath. Not forgetting the legendary series of boat parties on the River Thames.
Cristian was also invited to DJ at various venues across Bulgaria in cities such as Sofia & Varna. Cristian was also see DJ'ing at Glastonbury, Miami Winter Music Festival, Cyprus, France, Costa Rica, Croatia, and Switzerland.

Cristian has also had modest success with two releases of his own productions. Releases with Baker Street Recordings & Is This recording.
