Carry the Fire is a recording project by Matt Bruun. The goal is to make high quality recordings that capture music in exactly the way the artist intended it to sound. The focus is on the performance, not on technology.

The name “Carry the Fire Records” refers to the period in history before people had the ability to reliably create fire. They needed to maintain the embers, and carry them when moving to a new location. We thought this was an apt analogy for what a good record label or producer could be for the artists they work for.
