Our next release features a deep tune by Jamie Jaq, an aspiring producer hailing from the KwaZulu-Natal, Durban region of South Africa. Inspired by 90s House and UK Garage music, Jamie's tracks have a great old school sense of style and depth to them. "The Things You Hide" is just that, a beautiful track with a fat kick and a main focus around deep piano chord progressions, a complimentary layered low end, and smooth filtered vocals.

We've got 2 great remixes on this one to compliment the original. We're happy to have Manuel Kane back with his signature deep and driving sound. We're also glad to have Col Lawton on board with his remix as a deep percussion / drums based groove. We've been wanting to work with Col who's been on fire as of late with some excellent new music. Check it out!

Jack District is a DJ, producer, and sound designer from Brazil who has been delivering a steady run of quality releases. A resident producer at Blur Records, he now makes his FRI debut with the EP Remember Me—the 35th release in our catalogue.

This release features four classy tracks that showcase the depth of his deep house production skills.
The first track, "Blue Sky," is a refined deep house tune that pays a tasteful nod to 90s classic house, featuring deep pads and crisp dance vocal cuts.
The title track, "Remember Me," delivers a deep yet jackin' vibe that feels fresh, thanks to a hypnotic piano loop enveloped in atmospheric details that make it anything but repetitive.
Rounding out the EP, "Scattered" and "So Nice" combine smooth, sophisticated production with an unmistakable 90s touch, creating a sound that is both timeless and distinctly of its era—with a tight drum groove and soulful wizardry on Rhodes chords and pads.
