Out of all the Polish Juke releases, together with @Comoc, @RhythmBaboon is another mostly featured producer in the catalogue. So far his 'Danzig In Da Ghetto' EP – a debut in 160 bpm, and "First In Your Heart Remixes EP" have been released. First releases usually set the bar for emerging artists and point to their potential, while second ones are the answer to what extend they succeeded in developing their previously premature ideas into full-fledged form. Sporadically debut releases outshine the latter achievements, as they tend to be clearer and more convincing in reception. That’s why we, as publishers - having in mind incredibly successful 'Danzig In Da Ghetto' EP, were quite interested in how Rhythm Baboon will manage his next release.

'Rhythmwerkz' was out a year after the previous release in Polish Juke. The opening track, 'Hustlin', is a vast and spacious intro with steadily growing dynamics. Ethereal vocals and ambient background give 'Hustlin' the future garage lilt. It proceeds slowly without an unnecessary overload. One can clearly sense a play between ascetic use of means and their gradual intensification. Similarly, the next track, 'Hitec', moves in a quasi hip-hop tempo only to be later joined by dirty and grainy bass accompanied by a synthetic loop. At moments we can hear sounds resembling Herbie Hancock’s 'Rain Dance', making up a psychedelic whole generically relating to futuristic slow/fast. 'Angre' significantly speeds up. Pulsating bass meets here broken drum section and a female vocal together with resonating 90s in the background with liquid funk flow. 'Beginning' goes even deeper. Its rhythm was mounted on a distinct sub-bass broken with a kick drum or a clap reminding of RP Boo’s and Jlin’s tracks. At some point Baboon winks at the listener by slipping in a sample from Luniz duet, a rap hit from the 90s. 

The second part of 'Rhythmwerkz' comprises another three tracks. 'Another', where Baboon gradually builds up tension distributing rhythmic accents (kick drum, bass and clap) transforming them from point flashes into pulsating intensity. 'Notogether', on the other hand, is probably the most emotional track on 'Rhythmwerkz'. Aggressive and grainy synth gives the whole its disturbing character of noise music. Shredded female vocal relates to sudden explosions of bass. The last track, 'Flava', is an ideal closure of the concept - blurring the previously induced tension in narcotic slowdown and fading attention. 

If 'Danzig In Da Ghetto' creates a unified image or story, then 'Rhythmwerkz’s' tracks show the multiplication of this vision contained in its every track.
