The challenge for me was to come up with something while recording, without any preparation whatsoever. The set was played on Arturia Microfreak and Elektron Digitakt, with Ableton as an effects unit and live looper for the synth. 

The 1-hour recording was later edited to fit the 30-minute time constraint. These kinds of improvised live sets take me into places I would never reach otherwise and are a huge step out of my comfort zone. At the same time they provide me with tons of valuable samples, loops or even finished songs for future use.
