Ukrainian producer Lessovsky makes his debut on Plaisirs Sonores Records by delivering a top quality deep emotional track. On remix duty, Zone+, who already released on great labels like All Day I Dream, Anjunadeep and Tale & Tone, lightens the track by removing some shakers and presenting a more classic deep house version of the track. Last but not least label bosses Hicky & Kalo put their proggy touch on New Ritual by creating a groovy and driving version of the track.

Flying Heart EP brings together prolific producers and veteran artists Savvas and Death on the Balcony, Crossings usual suspects Parallells and Vander and rising talent Joe Finch.

Savvas delivers two stellar original tracks for his debut EP on Crossings. The dreamy Flying Heart was premiered at Crossings' Off Sonar Get Together 2018 event, during sunrise, the first of many. Parallells built on its key components and produced an insightful remix, adding energy while retaining the beauty of the original melody. Vander and Joe Finch's remix is simple and elegant, all the while remarkably powerful and festive.

Dream on Clouds is equally wonderful – a mesmerising summer track with ever evolving pads and a soothing melody. Last but not least, Death On The Balcony created yet another astonishing piece, a perfect combination of groove and melody, with a finely crafted loopy structure in which no one part dominates.

Musician and producer Stevie R makes a welcome return to Chapter 24 Records with his Melt album, in which he showcases a desire to bring back ‘rebetiko’ - the little known, underground ‘blues’ music of his native Greece, music that was often outlawed due to its anti-establishment themes. As its name suggests, Melt is a melting pot of sounds and an intricate journey through the musical cosmos, an enticing and alluring soundscape that captivates the listener and invites them along for the ride. 

“Melt is the story of 13 animals trying to go to space. Each animal is a figure in the artist's life, accompanying the others on the difficult journey. Nobody knows where space is, what it looks or feels like. To me, space is where our fears disappear, our loved ones stand beside us, and the fights in our mind cease. Nevertheless, there is a different journey for each and every one of us, our Universe is unique and the animals always look different; in this journey we travel alone.” - Stevie R 

Melt is Stevie R’s platform to bring the rebetiko music that he was raised on, sounds that he believes are a real healing tool, to a wider audience.  The album unites the music from his childhood with music from Greece’s neighbouring countries - Egypt and Turkey. 

Gkii, written alongside Egyptian poet and glitch producer CERPINTXT, is a call and response song between the melodies of both Greek and Egyptian instruments, a cross-cultural dialogue that marries the two in a beautiful union as the track unfolds.

Estonia, a country filled with countless sights of incredible nature. Inspiration is blooming out of every corner, waiting to be picked up by anyone, who dares to search for it. The estonian producer @about-river has embarked on this very journey and returned with a cinematic sound, filled with emotion, texture and fullfilling atmospheres, that create a broad and stimulating release. His originals are filled with live percussion, analogue synthesizers and authentic piano progressions, that are all well balanced, never feeling too much nor too little.

The strong, core melodic ideas have been shifted to the dancefloor and are re-interpretated by the likes of Volen Sentir and canadian debutant @saazbyzoi. The incredibly talented duo of Volen Sentir retouched the marvelous "Silver Dusk" with a sharp and continuous groove, mixed with subtle vocal layers and smart elements, that further emphasize the beauty of the main lead. Zoi captures the ground layers of "Feather Rain and is able to extract a hypnotic and simultaniously organic atmosphere, that is inlaid in his silky smooth groove, never pushing it too far, but rather sustaining a constant atmosphere, that is both gentle and energetic.
