I am not really a fan of live recordings. Things that happen live during a set don't always convey the impact of experiencing it live. I also play with eq and volumes that always don't translate well into recordings. However, it was a fun night and I got to play alongside Cassy in my hometown.

The pure awareness which serves as the experiencer and observer of life, and it is what we refer to as an Eternal Soul.

On the morning of our departure to Mexico we share another divine podcast for the February's Fortune series. It is created by the Parallells, two brothers that have been deeply loved by our family since the moment they walked into our lives.

We are impressed by them. Not only by their personality, by their smiles or by the way they seem to glide through life. We are impressed by them as two young and passionate artists. Creative, inventive and always inspiring. You might have seen their vlog series where they record a full day of sounds in a restaurant, a wood factory or some other bizar place to use these sounds in a track later that day.

We are forever in love with the Parallells.

Shamann | Crossings OFFSónar Get Together [Recording #001]

I spent my first Burn in 2017 with 1001 Nights. The unconditional love, inclusion and bubbly energy I felt that year made it clear that I would return to this beautiful family; a family of lovers and dreamers.

And so I returned to 1001 Nights this year. Every day was an absolute joy; we spent hours each day in our dome, our home, that was draped in colourful fabrics and adorned with gold stars falling from the sky, filled with cheerful chatter and storytelling through our projects.

I had the honour and pleasure of sharing a musical journey after my dear friend Kora. My set time was post-sunset. The stars in the dome lit the sky. Family gathered in and other lovely souls joined us to fill our dome with beautiful energy.

I'm grateful for every single person that played part of this beautiful journey and experience. This set is dedicated to all that made this happen. I thank you!

Headwaters is an electronic music collobration consists of two individuals, Engin Ozbatir and Onur Okutan.

In 2010, Engin, whose interest in electronic music has dramatically increased by means of the decisive influence of numerous local and foreign musicians that he has listened at “1888-Nightclub” in Izmir, has started his career at the relevant club as Resident DJ

Onur has started his perfoming career via playing electro guitar at his early ages and carried on his passion by composing his own songs.
Throughout his bachelor degree he had the chance to improve his competency on playing numerous instruments including but not limited to piano, violoncello and trumpet.

In recent years, as he has moved his productivity to electronic music, by the inspiration drawn from the infinity of the sounds used during production process, he decided to have his master degree on sound engineering.

Consequently, Headwaters has existed via combination of music knowledge and instrument skills of Onur and wide electronic music experience of Engin.
