Von wo wir uns kennen weiss ich gar nicht so recht. Es ist eines dieser Nachtleben-Geschichten, bei der man sich schon seit Jahren kennt, aber einfach nicht mehr sagen kann, wo genau es klick gemacht hat. 
Mit HS12 kam ich erstmals über die sozialen Medien in Kontakt. Da war immer dieser pinke Affe, Eggeaff, der meine Aufmerksamkeit für sich gewann. Ich erfuhr so was HS12 in der Stadt treibt und schafft, und mit der Zeit, fast schon natürlich, lernte ich einen nach der anderen aus dieser Crew kennen.

I don't really know where we know each other from. It's one of those nightlife stories where you've known each other for years but just can't remember where exactly it clicked.  I first came into contact with HS12 through social media. There was always this pink monkey, "Eggeaff", that caught my attention. From there on I found out what HS12 does in the city, organizes and creates over the time. Almost naturally, I got to know one after the other from this crew.

West Coast wunderkind Luke Mandala has garnered an international audience with his prolific releases on respected labels the likes of Desert Hearts, Selador, Traum, Merkaba Music, and Seattle's legendary Uniting Souls.
This release features 4 brand new retakes of Luke's "NewFangled Slang", a crisp, emotive tech house gem, whose rhythmic, percussive build explodes into an acid-layered, synth-driven melody with spacey vocals.   
For the remix duties, Uniting Souls enlisted Seattle favorites Pezzner and Jeromy Nail, as well as the label's longtime Los Angeles resident Jordan Strong. Textured, cerebral sounds are rendered corporeal, in their ability to incite goosebumps and gyrate movement, igniting the dancefloor in festive unity, much as the Uniting Souls movement itself.
